Tango Encuentro - Tango Workshop
Organisation and Idea: Facundo Barreyra.
For the first time, the Milonga is moving from Rosenheim to Trostberg.
For many years, people have been gathering every Friday in Rosenheim to hear, dance, and experience Tango – sharing special, collective moments around this expressive art form.
Now we have the special opportunity to experience this together in Trostberg, within the framework of Tango Encuentro, with the founders Margit and Franz.
The evening is open to everyone who wants to dance, watch, or simply enjoy the music of Tango – accompanied by hosts who have been creating a beautiful space for human encounters through art for many years, something that is of great importance in our time.
The live music will be provided by the Trio Tango Bravo, under the direction of Facundo Barreyra (Bandoneon, Arrangements, and Composition), along with Iris Lichtinger on piano and Regine Nosske on violin.
A magical night in a wonderful place – for meeting, sharing, and making this evening a true Tango Encuentro.
PROGRAM:
6:00 PM - 7:30 PM: Tango Canyengue Workshop with Margit & Franz Feldmeier
Canyengue - the beginnings of Tango Argentino
Suitable for all levels - from beginners to experienced dancers.
Canyengue is the traditional Tango of the Argentine Compadres as it was danced on the streets and in taverns of Buenos Aires: original, joyful, distinctly rhythmic, and with a wink.
Canyengue is interesting at every dance level: for beginners, its clear rhythmic structure makes it easy to dance doubling steps, and for advanced dancers, it offers new ideas that can also be integrated into today's Tango and Milonga.
So it is definitely worth getting to know the old Tango Canyengue.
8:00 PM - 11:00 PM: Milonga with Live Music - Tango for Dancing, Listening, and Watching.
“Milonga Tango del Barrio” with DJ Margit & Tango Bravo Trio
Admission: 5:00 PM
