„Sein Ernst?“ – Ein märchenhaftes Tanz-Theater-Stück - Eine Produktion von Andrea Eisenhardt - Dance Area Herne
„Sein Ernst?“ The fairy tale characters also wonder about that, as they are not at all happy with the roles assigned to them. They cannot believe what Josef Grimmig, the author of the fairy tales, has made of them and they certainly do not want to accept it. What could be more natural than to rewrite the story?! However, it will not be as easy as they imagine. Brick Wolf (Romy Ziegler) realizes this after taking over the rewriting project. First, Grimmig's niece (Sarah Hibbeln) must be convinced, which meets with little enthusiasm from her, as she actually just wanted to quickly retrieve her uncle's manuscript from his house abroad and send it to the publisher. Then there are also the somewhat bizarre special requests from the other fairy tale characters to be incorporated: The grandmother (Anna-Lena Schwidder) wants to become a Broadway star, the huntress (Fiona Markos) wants a more positive image, and the bluebird (Line Kowalzik) would prefer to be replaced by the raven (Christine Eckardt) in the story. The cat (Sophia Ender) no longer wants to climb trees, and especially not to hunt and eat her friend, the bluebird. The little duck (Ida Niodusch) would rather be a swan, the stork (Mia Fingerhut) wants more species protection, and the spiders finally want the recognition they believe they deserve. And then there are the penguins, trolls, forest spirits and the remaining dark-colored figures of the fairy tale forest that must not be forgotten. Whether Brick and the niece will keep their clarity amidst all this imaginative chaos and how the story will end, we will experience on Sunday, March 8, 2026 at 4 pm at the Kulturzentrum Herne.
