On Saturday, July 18, 2026, Bad Bevensen Marketing GmbH invites you to a special summer highlight: a Silent Disco on the terrace of the Kurhaus Bad Bevensen. From 21:30 to 1:00, guests will dance together on a large area – and yet each to their own favorite sound. Through wireless headphones, they can choose between three music channels, which are played live by three DJs: catchy Schlager hits, popular hits from the 80s and 90s, as well as energetic house and electro beats. Colorful LED signals on the headphones indicate which channel others are currently listening to, creating a playful, interactive atmosphere that is typical of this innovative event format.

To provide the perfect summer feeling, the Kurhaus bar offers cool drinks and refreshing cocktails. Should the weather not cooperate, the event will be quickly moved indoors to the Kurhaus. The Silent Disco takes place following the "Caribbean Night" and can be attended either as an addition or independently of it.

The admission for the Silent Disco on July 18 is 10 euros plus a 10 euro deposit for the headphones. For concert-goers of the "Caribbean Night" (ticket holders), admission to the Silent Disco is already included. Important: Visitors to the "Caribbean Night" concert do not need to purchase a separate ticket for the disco. Only the deposit must be paid on-site.

Tickets for both the concert and the subsequent disco are available in advance at the Tourist Information Bad Bevensen, at all well-known ticket outlets, online at http://www.bad-bevensen.de, and at the box office on the evening of the event.

Since 2018, Club 74 Reloaded catapults you back to a time when lovers of good rock music could enjoy it several times a week in the region. Regularly, we bring the legendary discotheque back to life for you. Whether you were there back then or not – for fans of alternative music, we bring the right vibes to the dance floor and take you through the entire spectrum of 60s beat, 70s hard & prog rock, 80s new wave, 90s alternative, up to today’s indie rock.

At the center are the many Club 74 classics, flanked by long-missing treasures, harder stuff, and of course, more recent smash hits of alternative music – those tracks that saw the end of the cult discotheque unfortunately come too soon.

Always in attendance are your hosts: The DJ from Club 74 in the 90s, namely DJ Bjoern, who shaped the club sound from '91 to '99, later had successful years at busters workshop, and of course our well-known DJ Bjørn (Club 74 DJ from '02 to '04) from “Neon Club” and the precursor event “The Green Empire.”

Come by if you want to celebrate again to music off the mainstream. For those of you for whom “The Club” was a second home on weekends, this is a chance to see familiar faces again and indulge in memories framed by a decoration that brings the club back to life.

Short story about the cult discotheque Club 74:

The small place Waldems-Esch is also known as the gateway to the Golden Ground. For many, however, it has long been primarily one thing: the gateway to unusual music off the mainstream.
When the “Club 74” opened its doors on March 8, 1974, as one of many discotheques of that time, no one would have thought that this would be the beginning of a nearly 33-year-long story. Initially located in the old hall of the inn “Zur Krone,” Club 74 quickly won a colorful mixed audience. Here, everyone celebrated together: 16 to 60-year-olds, hippies, metalheads, punks, darkwavers, and many others together with students and members of the nearby US Army bases.
“The Club,” as it was briefly called, established itself from a regional to a nationwide institution. Its founder Hans (†2017), the staff, and especially the hordes of DJs, the special audience, and the expressive dance style of many “club-goers” made Club 74 a legendary place, almost magical for many. There was no dress code or fear of embarrassment on the dance floor – whether barefoot or in high heels, in the club, people celebrated, danced, and made the night into day.
Even the FAZ recognized in May 1990: “The secret center of the world is, anyway, Club 74 in Waldems-Esch.”
The move from the Western-style dance hall to the comparatively sterile-looking premises in the industrial area on the 1st Christmas holiday 1994 represented a first break for some traditionalists. Nevertheless, another 12 years of club history were written afterward, and on the wrought-iron framed dance floor, people danced their feet sore.

When Club 74 closed its doors forever on December 26, 2006, it was for many the end of an era.

Mikroklub (live act)
The duo "mikroklub" presents a live act characterized by undulating LoFi basslines and substantial synth surfaces. Heavy and mellow, electrifying and driving. The two met in the former formation FORCODER, in which they played together for the last five years. After the band's dissolution, new sound structures emerged in occasional sessions, which the two held onto and continued to refine. Together with the inspiration from their favorite artists, they create what they like and weave everything into an electrifying live act.

Zoppoli
is a collective. In various formations, the disco set is created live on stage. In the moment, situationally. Always different, but great. Once the beat is started, the machine runs through in one go. They play what is needed for the dance. No DJ set today, but everything live.

At the entrance, you will receive a special "LED NEON Lights" wireless headphone and select the channel you want to listen to with a switch. And off you go, because you are right in the middle of the party, deciding how loud you want to hear the music. This "silent" party is just as colorful as it is crazy. In the background, it's actually really quiet, so for you: headphones on = party on, headphones off = party off. You have the freedom to choose!

? – Isn't it totally quiet at your party then?
! – Yes and no: It depends on the music being played and chosen by the guests through the headphones. If guests sing along, it’s loud; if there's more electrobeat favored, it tends to be quieter. That's precisely what's fun about the Silent Disco. Furthermore, you’ll save yourself from headaches the next day due to overly loud music. You alone decide how loud you want to listen to your music.

? – But then I can't talk with my friends!
! – Of course, you can. And even better than usual. Normally, you have to raise your voice quite a bit to be understandable by your friends. Here, you just take off your headphones or press the mute button to talk. If you want to hang out at the bar longer, put on your headphones and turn up the volume, so you can still hear the music.

? – Don’t you miss the thumping bass?
! – Definitely not! Since you are so intensely connected to the music with your headphones, you experience a completely different dance and music sensation that you won't even think about the thumping bass under your feet anymore.

? – Do I need to rent headphones? I just want to watch.
