An auditorium filled with cheers that can't contain themselves, the atmosphere is boiling. There has been laughter, tears, horizons expanded, perspectives opened, and all of this in just two hours. This is Poetry Slam! The modern entertainment format combines the best of comedy, poetry, social criticism, lyricism, and slapstick, transforming every stage into a true spectacle of entertainment art. And the best part: YOU, the audience, get to decide in this competition who you liked and what belongs in the trash.
The upcoming show is under a very special star, as the unique concept of "Südwestfalen-Tour" makes a stop at our Sauerland Theater. Four of the most renowned and popular slam poets from the entire German-speaking area are traveling to the humble Arnsberg to present a show like no other.
Moreover, a special guest will even write a text solely about the Hochsauerlandkreis and present it in the evening. The moderation will primarily focus on the HSK and, with fun facts and perhaps small quiz segments, will show the audience: it doesn't always have to be the Ruhr area, Düsseldorf, or Cologne. Südwestfalen has a lot to offer! And that is something to be proud of!
