Indem sie mit Instinkten und in Körpern gespeicherten Archiven arbeitet, ruft diese Performance durch die Hingabe an den Augenblick Geister und mögliche Zukünfte herbei. Die Arbeit entspringt dem Wunsch, sich der Komplexität, den Konflikten und Widersprüchen zu stellen, die wir verkörpern. Im Vertrauen auf den Tanz als Praxis der Orientierung werden Prozesse sanfter Desorientierung zur Strategie des Vergessens, des Verlierens und des Erinnerns an uns selbst. Spukend und heimgesucht wird Tanz als orakelhafter Zustand verstanden. SERAFINE1369 interessiert sich für die Magie und die Geheimnisse der Lebensprozesse – Unterscheidung, Variation, Zyklen, Zerfall; die Unausweichlichkeit der Bewegung.

Working with instincts and archives bodies hold, this performance calls ghosts and possible futures into the room through a commitment to the moment. The work unfolds from a desire to meet the complexity, conflicts and contradictions that we embody. Trusting dancing as a practice of wayfinding, processes of gentle disorientation become a strategy for forgetting, losing and remembering ourselves. Haunting and haunted, dancing is understood as an oracular state. SERAFINE1369 is curious about the magic and mysteries of life-processes – distinction, variation, cycles, decomposition; the inevitability of movement.
