On the hike through the vineyards, you will learn interesting facts about the vineyards, the vines, and their winemakers. You will gain insight into the history of viticulture in Saxony.
The harsh climate in Saxony requires a lot of skill and knowledge from its winemakers. I will show you the differences and particularities of today's viticulture in Saxony compared to other German wine-growing regions.
During the hike, we will pass by various smaller and larger wineries. I will briefly introduce these and address various peculiarities. Upon special request, the pruning at the vine can also be explained.

Takes place in all weather conditions, sure-footedness required, afterward, dining in the tavern is possible.

Welcome to our Glühwein-Tour with Winter-Picknick
Glühwein can be much more than some "skull slosh." With us, you'll experience the winter cultural drink in all its forms and varieties. Along the way, you'll take a look over the rim of your cup into the picturesque vineyard landscape of Radebeul's Oberlößnitz and learn a lot of interesting facts from an experienced winemaker. Please inquire separately for "bachelor parties."
From the valley, there is an impressive view of the vineyard location "Goldener Wagen."
You'll see the former electoral vineyard Hoflößnitz, historic winemaker houses, and many other old wineries, romantic wine courtyards, and traditional taverns.
From the ridge of the vineyards, the view extends far into the Saxon Switzerland.
Fantastic viewpoints include a former vineyard house - today the panoramic restaurant "Spitzhaus" - as well as the Bismarck Tower.
Look forward to 3 different varietal pure Glühweins that will warm you up and our non-alcoholic hot apple drink (each 0.2 l). In addition, there will be small snacks at the start and on the way. After 2-3 hours, you will conclude the hike with a communal dinner.
