Bidla Buh - "Die große Abschiedstour" - ... voller Freude, Erinnerungen und natürlich bester Laune.
After 28 years filled with music, comedy, stage chaos, stage fright, goosebumps, tears of laughter, and a healthy dose of madness, the three brothers of Bidla Buh say "Goodbye" – and they do so loudly, humorously, and with a lot of heart.
The award-winning trio is going on farewell tour to celebrate once more all that the audience loves about them: the highest musical virtuosity, absurd instrument changes, and a unique stage presence that targets both hearts and laughter muscles.
This tour is a thank you to everyone who has accompanied, celebrated, and supported Bidla Buh – a farewell full of joy, memories, and of course, great spirits.
They look like they've been invited to a state banquet: tailcoats, cufflinks, pocket squares, groomed hair. But beware! Here, much is different than it seems, for the three gentlemen who appear so gentlemanly have a trick up their sleeves. Dressed in the finest attire, they offer music comedy of a particularly quirky kind. They blow into garden hoses and beer bottles, parody stars from the German and international music scene, and blend Alpine yodeling with Spanish castanets and flamenco sounds. Everything is turned upside down and shaken up nicely, rhymes and melodies swirl colorfully together and occasionally take on curious forms. The three Hamburgers pour a true cornucopia of crazy-twisted ideas over their audience, leaving them unable to contain their excitement.
At a ridiculous pace, the three music comedians rush through the eras, bringing around 30 partly self-made instruments to life with unexpected ease.
The multi-instrumentalist, presenter, and parodist Hans Torge enchants not only the ladies with his Hanseatic bel canto singing but also presents himself to the audience as a true art whistler in previously unheard musical settings.
Ole, as the old-school chansonnier, channels Charles Aznavour and longs for love at first sight and the beautiful times between dangling curlers, sweatpants, and couch-potato life: “When I came to you in the evening and took you in my arms…” - Ole sighs longingly into the microphone. Which lady wouldn’t want to escape from everyday life?
The third member of the trio, the perpetually grumpy little brother Frederick, manages to conjure up a virtuosic waltz on his magical suitcase vibraphone in the meantime, trying to escape his ongoing humiliation. Because he too wants to somehow be “wanna be loved by you” by the end of the evening.
Hans Torge humorously shows the audience the various forms of laughter: Here, "Eine kleine Nachtmusik" morphs into "Eine kleine Lachmusik" and Beethoven's 5th culminates in uninhibited laughter ecstasy. The three brothers from Bidla Buh happily conclude: Humor and laughter release unexpected happiness hormones and are better than any medicine!
