FEIERLICHER ERÖFFNUNGSABEND & LIVE MUSIK
Wir laden ein zur fulminanten Eröffnung des 8. Internationalen Festivals mit Figuren WEITBLICK 2025. Mit Musik von dem besonderen Orchester "La Muette" und kurzen Grußworten der Künstlerischen Leiterinnen, des Oberbügermeisters und der Förderpartner*innen stimmen wir uns gemeinsam im Theater Fadenschein auf die Festivalwoche ein. Die Eröffnung im Theater Fadenschein ist kostenfrei, allerdings mit begrenzter Platzzahl, daher bitten wir um Reservierung. Mit Sekt und Musik ziehen wir gemeinsam weiter zu unserer Open-Air-Eröffnungsinszenierung von BOT.

BOT kehren mit ihrem neuesten fulminanten Musik- und Objekttheaterkonzert zurück zum WEITBLICK.
Robuste Kompositionen und poetische Bilder reflektieren die aktuellen gesellschaftlichen Entwicklungen und setzen sie musikalisch, bildnerisch und erzählerisch ins Verhältnis zu den goldenen 20ern, die von Swing, Jazz, Ausgelassenheit und Zukunftsangst geprägt waren: Der lautstarke Ruf nach Veränderung und die gleichzeitige Sehnsucht nach der Vergangenheit sorgen erneut für eine potenzielle Explosion. Die Reibung zwischen drängender Innovation und bedrückendem Konservatismus wird immer größer. BRAS ist ein eindrucksvolles visuelles und musikalisches Abenteuer, das mit imposanten musikalischen Apparaturen das Publikum begeistert.

GRAND OPENING EVENING & LIVE MUSIC
Festive opening of the 8th international puppetry-festival WEITBLICK 2025. With music by the special orchestra La Muette and short greetings from the artistic directors, the mayor and the funding partners, we will tune in the festival week. The opening at Theater Fadenschein is free, but the number of seats is limited, so please make a reservation. With drinks and music, we move on together to our open air opening production of BOT. Further information on the opening events will follow on the next pages.

BOT returns to WEITBLICK with their latest pure, raw music theatre with cast-iron imagery and robust compositions.
Inspired by the rich visual language of the interbellum, Muziektheater BOT investigate the 2020s and find that much the same kind of tension pervades our air as that which coloured the 1920s, a hundred years ago. Strident calls for change amid a simultaneous hankering for the past are again fuelling a potential explosion. And the friction between thrusting innovation and oppressive conservatism is ever increasing. "Chaos, sizzling tension of imminent, inevitable war: BRAS is a rusty and unpolished cabaret that squeaks and creaks and sounds like BOT." (Theaterkrant)
