Manon Kahle grew up in the northernmost foothills of the Appalachians. This mountain range in the eastern United States is home to and the origin of thousands of stories and songs. Together with Berliner Uli Kempendorff, Kahle performs her own pieces that are heavily influenced by this musical tradition, as well as songs from the canon of Folk and Americana.
