Duration: 45 minutes In German spoken and written language In Englisg spoken and written language on November 8 at 8pm and 9pm as well as November 10 at 3pm and 4pm Adults 16.50 €, reduced 11.50 € An immersive installation with sound, objects and video Barcelona at the end of the last century, shaken up by anarchism, communism, Darwinism and spiritualism. Jacint Verdaguer, one of the most influential authors in the Catalan language, is working as a priest in the impoverished districts of the city. In this function, he takes part in a series of exorcisms and records these experiences in his journals. His notes are astonishingly contemporary – they address explicit questions about ownership and estrangement, the diversity of the body, social constructs, pandemic conditions, the way that human beings interact with the world and marginalized bodies. Together with the dancer Rocía Molina and the singer Niño de Elche as well as with a multitude of artists and scholarships who have concerned themselves with the concept of possession, cabosanroque have created a ceremony of sound and images: 20 audience members enter the installation and simultaneously become passive as well as active subjects – surrounded by percussion made using inflatable pool toys, whispers coming from miniature speakers, beats from an old slatted bed frame and the spherical drops of water. Information About Accessibility: You can find information about the physical accessibility of the performance external venue (Theater Strahl Ostkreuz) here: https://www.theater-strahl.de/spielorte/ The members of the audience are asked to wear protective covers over their shoes. The members of the audience will move independently through the installation; there are no seats. Stroboscope-like lighting effects and loud music will both be used over the course of the performance. A short text is also performed in English spoken language in the German-language version.

Dimonis Dämonen (Demons) cabosanroque, Katalonien
