Das Geld liegt auf der Fensterbank, Marie! - Advents Edition
1.Glorious Versieben
With this program, everything gets better: even more beautiful songs and more absurd dialogues, more critical themes and more surprising punchlines! "110 percent!", says Friedolin! "Of course!", says Wiebke. But the 110 percent also apply to the children and the guinea pigs, the climate-friendly diet and the chalk paint they want to use to paint the stairs. In addition, the days up to KW 48 are basically already planned out and not to forget: mindfulness and self-love.
Is this even achievable? No, but that's exactly why they try.
When this duo steps onto the stage, they always have the high ambition to gloriously mess it up. Emphasis on glorious! And they are not alone in this. Glorious failure is the evolutionary signature move of humans. We are so good at everything that we accidentally destroyed our home planet. Oops.
With their own mix of cabaret exchanges, humor, linguistic acrobatics, improvisation, and music, Das Geld liegt auf der Fensterbank, Marie once again creates the overall cabaret work with which they have made a name for themselves. And it’s a pretty long name.
For those who have never experienced the two live, or don't know them from Die Anstalt or their SWR3 comedy, now is the chance to not mess it up again!
The press about Das Geld liegt auf der Fensterbank, Marie:

2. Advents Edition
For over 10 years, Das Geld liegt auf der Fensterbank, Marie have been delighting audiences with their own form of cabaret. When the real-fictional couple is not entertainingly and virtuosically chatting away, they present language-juggling songs and poems. In their ADVENTS EDITION, there is a pre-Christmas reunion with the favorite numbers from past programs. Furthermore, we learn why children arm themselves on St. Nicholas Eve if an old white man sneaks through the house - and at the Nativity scene, besides the ox and the donkey, there are definitely seals present! We will hear year-end live radio plays and unsentimental winter poetry, revised Christmas songs, as well as a telecourse analysis of Last Christmas.
