She is blue-yellow, loves music, and has now fully arrived in German children's rooms: Eule, the coolest facilitator of musical adventures, is on a grand exploration. With enormous success! Since the release of the debut audio play by Charlotte Simon, Nina Addin, and Christina Anders (Raack), the now three Eule albums have sold around half a million copies.

Since 2016, the unsuspecting Eule has also been on stage in the production by Christina Anders (Raack) and Cristiana Garba, delighting children and parents alike. Over 30,000 visitors across Germany have already celebrated a theater-concert party with Eule. Now the continuation finally follows!

The Story

Music is the language of emotions. Eule discovers this in the third part of her exciting journey through the world of music – as she wants to write her very first ukulele song! But how does one actually do that?

In her quest for answers on what it takes to compose her first own song, Eule not only organizes a concert in the woods, she also meets a whole bunch of new musical friends. Each with a different feeling in tow, each with its own unique beat. She encounters high feelings like love, joy, and courage, but sadness, anger, and fear also cross her path. In the end, Eule learns a lot about emotions and feels how good it is to express them through music.

The Production

While the show for Eule Part 1 explored the boundaries between theater, concert, and interactive party, Garba and Anders place feelings at the center with the production of the third part. “It is important for us to bring feelings literally close to the audience,” say Garba and Anders. “Feelings are not simply there. They arise, build up, and find their way to the surface. The emergence and actual feeling are always the result of an interplay between the inside and outside. We can shape the outside and create a connection. Of course, through music, but also through the use of light and the expressiveness of the body.” However, the live music experience for the young audience members will not change because of this. With their well-rehearsed five-member team, there will also be only live-performed songs this time.

„GLEICH“ is a piece that cannot be easily categorized – and that makes it all the more exciting. Alfred Dorfer once again showcases his unique ability to blur the boundaries between reality and fantasy. What initially feels like a classic one-man show quickly reveals itself to be an intense and absurd playground of thoughts, where Dorfer juggles various characters, storylines, and time levels.

From the grandmother to the sunflower to the bear – in the blink of an eye, Dorfer slips into the most diverse roles as if he had never done anything else. But „GLEICH“ is more than just a collection of characters and quirky moments. It is a confrontation with time and reality itself, a piece that raises questions and repeatedly puts the audience in doubt. Are we allowed to take what we see at face value? Or is it merely a fiction spun by Dorfer that subtly holds a mirror up to us?

With a background in pantomime and acting, Dorfer masterfully masters the art of facial expressions and body language. However, it is his sharp-witted dialogues and precise word choice that make him a true master of satirical art. In „GLEICH“, he juggles socio-political themes, sheds light on grievances and unheard issues, all while never losing sight of humor. Dorfer has continuously developed his own narrative form, thus carving out a unique voice in the German-speaking world.

His art is a mix of absurd humor, philosophical thoughts, and a deep reflection on society. Through the combination of a sharp eye, intelligent satire, and physical expressiveness, Dorfer has developed a distinct and unmistakable style.

Men are hunters and women are gatherers. A fact that human evolution has not been able to change to this day. The cult comedy enthuses audiences and critics around the globe. A MUST for all who are in a relationship, have been in one, or want to be in one!

CAVEMAN takes a unique look at the relationship between man and woman. In the "magical underwear circle," Tom, the affable hero in the thicket of relationships, encounters his ancestor from the Stone Age, who allows him to partake in millennia-old wisdom: Men are hunters and women are gatherers. A fact that human evolution has not been able to change to this day. What the average man has always suspected, Tom now knows firsthand and wonders, "Why don't we just consider women and men as completely different cultures? With different languages, different behaviors, and different origins?" Inspired by this realization, Tom analyzes the strange universe of the gatherers: This mysterious world of best friends, shopping, and sex. With an immense need to communicate and dry humor and an ironic outlook, Tom also observes the lifestyle of the hunter. He reveals what fulfillment "sitting around without talking" can bring, why men have to channel surf through the TV program, and that a conversation among hunters begins and ends with the words "Let's go to the cellar, bore some stuff."

American Rob Becker wrote the most successful solo piece in Broadway history with CAVEMAN. After being acclaimed by millions of audiences in the United States, the modern caveman is achieving worldwide success. In Germany, the play premiered in 2000 under the direction of Esther Schweins and the translation of Kristian Bader.

24th Benefit Show in support of the Christmas Action of the Stuttgarter Nachrichten

Die Nacht der Lieder is a contrasting mixed show that promotes international collaboration and presents controversial contributions across borders. Eric Gauthier, head of the Theaterhaus company Gauthier Dance, takes the stage as the host and entertainer. And as always, strong acts from pop and jazz, classical music and comedy are seamlessly lined up, creating a harmonious coexistence despite all sharp cuts. A December event in a unique atmosphere. The constantly changing line-ups are curated by the initiator of the event series, Joe Bauer. With the 24th benefit show, the Christmas Action of the Stuttgarter Nachrichten is supported as always. The proceeds benefit people in need from the region.
