Three bands. 45 minutes. A courtyard.
The Flensburg scene will take the stage this evening. We celebrate a festival within a festival. Three bands will play 45 minutes each in the courtyard of the Flensburg brewery – it doesn't get more Flensburg than this! They showcase the colorful and diverse nature of our local scene.
Jule Sösemann explores the singer-songwriter genre in her solo project in Danish, German, and English. With her guitar and powerful voice, the 25-year-old shares honest stories about friendship in Berlin, love in Aarhus, and everything in between – charming, radiant, and with a smile, she takes the audience by the hand from the very first note.
Soulshine is a staple of the Flensburg music scene: Nik Heitmann, Bent Wolff, Michael Schmidt, Arne Maltzan, and “Mollo” Lorenzen. With Soulshine, they bring the namesake song by Warren Haynes to the stage: rock and blues full of soul, powerful sound, and beyond the mainstream. From John Mayer to Gov’t Mule, the band serves up powerful songs that make hearts leap and feet dance.
Frankly is the solo project of Leon Kraack, who usually plays in bands like Salamana or as the guitarist for Alli Neumann. His own project floats somewhere between freak-folk, country, and proto-electronic. Charming, gritty, free – supported by his band, which will make the beer in the storage tanks vibrate.
Three bands, one courtyard, Flensburg music, and Flensburg drinks – this is summer in our city!
