The Württembergisches Kammerorchester Heilbronn is guest conducted by the Estonian Risto Joost, a shooting star of the young European conducting scene. Together they present two key works by Ludwig van Beethoven that not only transformed his own artistic development but the entire world of music. Herbert Schuch is considered one of the most expressive pianists of his generation, a master of nuance. With him, Piano Concerto No. 3 in C minor becomes an event, making Beethoven's internal struggle between light and shadow palpable. The famous Symphony No. 3 "Eroica" continues to open new horizons today. It tells of ideals, disappointments, and the indomitable will to change. From the moving funeral march to the triumphant finale – this concert shakes you awake and carries you away.

What adventures Pinocchio experiences! Just a moment ago, he was a wooden puppet, and now he is to become a real boy. The woodcarver Gepetto carved him from a piece of pine wood.

When he decides to sell the life-size puppet at the market, the good fairy Antonella brings the wooden figure to life.

But being a real boy isn't that easy. Because to do so, you have to go to school and face adventures. And above all, there is one thing you must not do: lie! However, Pinocchio has some difficulties with that. How could he always be honest when he continually gets tricked by the clever fox Amadeo and the forgetful cat Cerubino? To avoid making his father sad, Pinocchio occasionally invents tiny little things, but you can tell his fibs by the length of his nose.

Thus, Pinocchio has to overcome many obstacles to fulfill his deepest wish to become a real boy. His exciting journey takes him to the theater, across golden fields, and into dark corners, and he encounters not only treacherous characters but also true friends. Until, in his search for his father, Gepetto, he is also swallowed by a gigantic whale...

Carlo Collodi's world-famous story of Pinocchio, that little wooden puppet whose nose grows longer when he lies, is over a hundred years old. With a lot of fun, plenty of poetry, and the wonderful melodies of the renowned songwriter Konstantin Wecker, the musical by successful playwright Christian Berg takes you into the story of the little marionette that comes to life and must face many adventures.
