An Approach to the Invisible

What grows, crawls, flows and makes noise while hidden? How do we explore worlds that we cannot see and how do internal pictures become audible and visible?
Touching, feeling and describing, two performers explore the world beneath our feet using materials and sounds, following trails into the invisible and making guesses about what is hidden there.

"unsichtbar" is the new in-house production of Schaubude Berlin and the first production of the institution that has been created with a team of blind as well as sighted artists. Starting from the methods of research theater that invites young people into aesthetic research, the artistic team set off together with kids from the daycare center Cuvrystr. 26 A in Kreuzberg on research trips into the world of roots. The sounds, movements, figures and sketches found there have been incorporated into the work on the production: "unsichtbar" provokes the imagination of the audience and creates a multisensory universe with a combination of puppet theater sound and theater.

Accessibility

Touch tour at 3 pm. Pickup service for blind and visually impaired people from the S-Bahn station or tram stop »Greifswalder Straße«; access friends on site to assist visitors if needed.
