Crinkled - zwei Leben, gefaltet, zerknittert, geknüllt
A sequence of scenes about transience told with paper and percussion
Normally, paper is written on with stories. But with Alice Therese Gottschalk, the paper itself becomes the storyteller.
Paper in its various states of aggregation, as well as masks and puppets made of paper, shape stories, crackle with life, rustle with love, dance with joy, and burn with excitement.
The life cycle of a simple material becomes a metaphor for transformation and transience. Inextricably linked to this, percussionist Anja Füsti develops unmistakable sounds and compositions that make language unnecessary. A paper frenzy in a duo of puppetry and music.
