New album, first show at the Reeperbahn Festival, then a tour, perhaps a Rock Olymp...

By 2020, everyone had masks on, a bad mood, and a bit of fear. The awkwardness of the world weighed heavy on the spirit and the office. Writing songs felt like an arms race against the end of the industry and a bit also the end of the world. It was exhausting! Beautiful and meaningful, but so incredibly tiring and fragmented. Marked by constant breaks, overloaded Zoom sessions, and repeatedly postponed schedules. And all this during a time when the two should have had tears of joy in their eyes permanently. In the end, it was that way, but for reasons of fear and exhaustion. “THE SUN IS A DWARF STAR” - Their 2022 second debut still turned out great and worth loving. A sigh of relief and a new beginning with plenty of very good time within and around it. But it was also clear: The next album had to be different!

Violin, Styrian harmonica, guitar, and tuba – four virtuoso musicians weave a dynamic, chamber music texture that blossoms with an elegance and lightness one would not expect in the context of folk music.
In the improvisations, jazz shines through, in the flawless interplay the classical training, and in the manifold hints the wide horizon of four cosmopolitans who are at the same time naturally rooted in their homeland. This music refuses any simple categorization and creates a delightful auditory confusion.

Maxjoseph's music is not only a synthesis of high and low culture, of old and new, of folk music and classical music – it is an invitation to a dialogue where boundaries blur, yet one remains always grounded, rooted in one's home.

“NAU” is the current album and program of the ensemble – music that has been missed not only in Bavaria but far beyond: light-footed, charming, and with extraordinary fresh ideas that break clichés and interpret folk music in a completely new way.

Live, Final Impact is always loud and guarantees an exhilarating show that breaks all boundaries between band and audience. After their debut album "Turn The Page" in 2015, which established them as an energetic live band, Final Impact has been on a long journey. They have shared the stage with bands such as Donots, Порнофильмы (Pornofilmy; RUS/GEO), Rantanplan, Turbo AC’s (USA), Sokoninaru (JPN), toured through Germany, the Netherlands, and the Czech Republic, and played at various smaller and medium-sized festivals like Ackerfest in Schöppenstedt or Rock im Allerpark in Wolfsburg. Their second album "Dying 'Til We Care" marked a turning point. It showcased a more mature band whose music and songwriting have significantly evolved. The songs, influenced by personal and societal themes, gave the album a special depth. This solidified the band's status within the underground punk rock scene. The band is currently working hard on their third studio album. Fans can look forward to new, energetic songs that will further develop the unmistakable sound of Final Impact and once again demonstrate their passion for punk rock.

JOACHIM WITT - Lux aeterna Kirchentour 2026

Sound and light, mysteriously merging. Hundreds of candles flicker gently, evening light falls through the windows, a play of light, gently pulsing, immersing the sacred space in moods. Like dancing companions, shadows glide through the nave.

Joachim Witt steps onto the stage, a wanderer between worlds. His voice fills the nave, powerful and touchingly gentle. Accompanied by the soft strength of a cello, the sensitive play of the piano, the warm depth of the bass, the gentle garlands of the guitar, and a percussion that doesn’t dictate a rhythm but weaves into it. A sound carpet that carries Joachim Witt's voice – unfathomably distant, whisperingly familiar – into another world.

It is this acoustic set that gives each nuance of the performance space to breathe, a sacred space. The songs, the lyrics, gain depth. In interplay with the space, its natural resonance, a new, almost fragile dimension opens up to them. A service of sound – quiet, sublime, full of poetry.

Joachim Witt's voice has accompanied everyone with ears to hear for decades. This concert is not one where someone stands in front and presents. “Lux Aeterna” – this is Witt’s idea for this evening – is a retreat from the hectic world, an invitation to lose oneself in the eternity of the moment.

And at the same time, it is a reflection in the most festive time of the year. The tour leads through carefully selected churches, whose unique atmosphere carries the artistic concept in a way that marries sound art with reverence.

Josi and his friends travel around the world – and the Josi band catches the travel fever as well. After all, there is so much to discover: distant countries, high mountains, big cities, bright colors. And everywhere there is wonderful music. Along the way, the travelers meet new musical friends like a horn-playing moose in Canada, a dancing cow in India, the fiddle master from Ireland, and singing children.
Meike van Bebber and the Josi band invite their young audience to sing along and move during the participation concert. Everyone hold on, the journey is starting!
