GYMMICK & die ERBEN - GYMMICK & die ERBEN
On Friday, October 23, 2026, the Kulturhaus Torgau invites you to a very special concert evening: GYMMICK & die ERBEN will bring the timeless songs of Ton Steine Scherben and Rio Reiser live to our stage starting at 8:00 PM. Look forward to an evening full of music, emotions, and shared memories – honest, powerful, and touching.
For nine years, GYMMICK stood as a singer and guitarist together with musicians of the legendary Ton Steine Scherben on stage, singing the songs of Rio Reiser. From this intense time and the great enthusiasm of the audience arose the desire to let this music live on. Together with the ERBEN, Gymmick continues this path, allowing the songs of Rio Reiser and RPS Lanrue to resonate anew – respectfully, authentically, and at the same time with his own musical signature.
With driving drums, distinctive electric guitars, and earthy bass, a sound emerges that surprises: raw, vibrant, and so close to the original that one feels as if the early Ton Steine Scherben are experiencing a live performance once again. GYMMICK & die ERBEN combine well-known rebellious classics with deep ballads and their own songs that seamlessly fit into the musical heritage.
This concert is more than a look back – it is an invitation to experience together. The music of Ton Steine Scherben connects generations, and that's what makes this evening so special. Whether you've loved the songs for decades or are discovering them anew: young and old, fans of punk, rock, and German-language songwriting are equally welcome here.
The press attests to GYMMICK's extraordinary proximity to Rio Reiser – vocally captivating, emotional, and yet independent. His concerts are passionate, approachable, and full of energy. Together we celebrate on this evening freedom, rebellion, solidarity, and love – values that are just as important today as they were then.
Experience GYMMICK & die ERBEN live at Kulturhaus Torgau and let yourself be taken on a musical journey that touches, excites, and connects.
