"Die Physikanten Show"
For 24 years, the Physikanten have proven: Science can be this entertaining! When they take the stage, physics becomes as funny as a comedy show, glamorous like a variety night, or gripping like a football final: Sturdy 200-liter barrels collapse with a tremendous bang, or a laser beam suddenly makes music and becomes a bass guitar.
"With us, those interested learn more about physics in one show than they could ever forget in their school days," says diploma physicist Marcus Weber, the head and founder of the Physikanten and Co., with a wink.
The concept has won awards: The Physikanten have been honored, among others, with the medal from the German Physical Society (DPG), which has also been awarded to Ranga Yogeshwar.
The Physikanten and Co. perform at schools and universities, in variety shows, at corporate events, conferences, trade fairs, and international science festivals – most recently at the "All Russia Science Festival" in front of 3,000 spectators in Moscow and at the "Abu Dhabi Science Festival" with 24 shows on the beach.
With their science shows, they have already thrilled around 1 million spectators. For television, the team creates impressive experiments, including for "Galileo," "Frag doch mal die Maus," or "Wer weiß denn sowas XXL." Eye-catching and extremely entertaining.
