Plaza is an imaginary public square where different groups of people gather. In various ways, encounters between the groups take place at this location, based on disagreement, distrust, and ignorance, as well as curiosity and care.
The piece engages with differences and established categorizations while simultaneously seeking ways to break them down. Stereotypes are uncovered, deconstructed, and interwoven in an attempt to make nuances visible. This interweaving creates new social constellations that lead to the exploration of commonality and ultimately unity.
Plaza is a collage of diverse styles and realities that choreographically examines identity, belonging, and coexistence.
