The dream cycle continues – in 2024, the re-edition of Bosse's latest album "Übers Träumen" will be released. Including the recently released new single with the fitting title "Tagträumen". In total, the re-edition of the album includes eight additional tracks. Alongside the single, there is the previously unreleased studio track "Nobel zu Grunde gehen" and six live songs from the unique and fantastic album release concert by Bosse on 27.10.23 at the Hamburg Elbphilharmonie, which sold out completely in just a few minutes. Special, newly arranged and acoustically influenced versions of the songs from the "Übers Träumen" album with selected musical guests like Alligatoah (on "Salzwasser") and Valeska Steiner from "BOY" (on "Schlaf bei mir ein"). Other guests include the "Kaiser Quartett" and the "Hansemädchen".
The latter have already kicked off the summer with Bosse on stage and 40,000 in front of the stage at the Hurricane Festival 2023. There will also be performances with local choirs during the upcoming hall tour (April/May 2024) and at the summer concerts in 2024. Bosse has called for submissions on Instagram for a joint performance. Over 700 different choirs have requested the sheet music for the single "Ein Traum". This resulted in numerous applications, from which he selected one choir for each tour city to join him on stage at the upcoming concerts. Bosse has undoubtedly brought new life to the choral landscape of the country!
The timeless beauty and quality of his songs is reflected in the cross-generational success of "Der letzte Tanz", which in its acoustic version topped the German TikTok charts at #1 for three weeks two years after its initial release and, with over 100,000 video creations featuring this sound on the platform, was among the most successful titles of 2023.
BOSSE has been a firm and celebrated music figure in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland for over 20 years. With his albums "Engtanz" (2015) and "Alles Ist Jetzt" (2018), he debuted straight at #1 in the German album charts. The predecessors "Wartesaal", "Kraniche", as well as the hit singles "Schönste Zeit" and "Der letzte Tanz" have been certified GOLD. In times of dwindling sales, increasing speediness, and a focus on "songs", selling over 100,000 albums is a rarity. To be one of the most established and recognized artists in the live business: surely the greatest recognition for continuity and the biggest gift one's own audience can give. Performing before several hundred thousand people. At the largest festivals, such as Rock am Ring/Rock im Park, Hurricane/Southside, Highfield, or Deichbrand. At his own open-air shows and sold-out club and hall tours, BOSSE remains a magnet. Not only musically. An artist with hits, attitude, responsibility, and continuous social engagement. For numerous NGOs, such as the Federal Working Group "Pro Asyl", the aid organization "Hanseatic Help", or the "Fridays for Future" movement. An artist who has never given up on his dreams. Not even the dream of a better, fairer, and more solidaristic world.
