Open Stage IN DER ROSENAU - präsentiert von Thomas Schreckenberger
Over 20 years ago, the Berlin artist Detlef Winterberg founded the "Scheinbar" with like-minded people in Berlin: A venue that should give everyone the opportunity to try out, rehearse, and further develop their program numbers. This principle of the "Open Stage" was soon to be found in all major cities of this republic in the years that followed. In the meantime, every night in the whole country, a so-called "Open Stage" is organized on countless, mostly small stages, where special moments and tragic moments, funny events, and great personal successes are experienced and celebrated again and again in new and different ways!
Twelve years ago, the OpenStage in the Rosenau was the first Open Stage in Stuttgart and initially a cautious attempt to establish in Stuttgart what has been a cult in other cities for years. In the meantime, the OpenStage in the Rosenau is heavily frequented and well attended by both artists and the audience. It is a fixed and important part of the stage culture and cannot be imagined out of the city's cultural life anymore.
The OpenStage always takes place on a Tuesday, twice a month during the season. Anyone can sign up and perform—comedians, pantomimes, actors, comedians, clowns, singers, steppers, musicians, dancers, magicians, jugglers... Professionals, amateurs, and beginners. Registration required! at the Rosenau with Michael Drauz at 0711/661 90 40 or via michael.drauz@rosenau-stuttgart.de. Each artist has a playing time of 10 to a maximum of 15 minutes. Apart from dinner and drinks, there is no fee, only the opportunity to give your best performance to the audience.
Doors open & catering from 6:00 pm
