During the rehearsals for a school performance, Alice suffers a severe brain injury. Her mother’s world comes crashing down, but her sister Olivia does not give up hope. She reads to Alice from "Alice in Wonderland" and tries to reach her.
In Alice's inner thought world, motifs from the story mingle with memories and feelings. A moving struggle arises over whether the power of imagination is strong enough to lead her back to life.
Fairy tale and fantasy characters begin anew in a new world. In a specially created class for them, they are meant to learn to find their place and start fresh together. But suddenly, Cinderella disappears under mysterious circumstances, and the fragile cohesion of the group teeters. The play was developed by the participants themselves.

Los Suplentes, consisting of Emiliano Faryna and Hugo Satorre, promise to present a special tango evening at a world level with their incredible energy, joy of playing, and virtuosity! Accompanying them on this evening will be the likable Argentine saxophonist Michael Villmow from Norway, who incorporates jazz into tango, making this evening unforgettable and unique. The trio's goal is to adapt the characteristic sound of the orchestras from the 1940s to the bandoneon and guitar duo format. Currently, the repertoire includes not only original compositions but also new tangos, works by Astor Piazzolla, and Argentine folklore. Emiliano Faryna and Hugo Satorre, with a long professional career and various awards, including a nomination for the Latin Grammy and the Carlos Gardel Award, continue to travel with their Argentine music, bringing tango to the whole world.

Cycling, experiencing music, relaxing, and enjoying: On the last Sunday of the summer holidays, the Jazzclub Lippstadt is hosting a cozy bike tour through the green starting from the town hall square at 4 PM - followed by a jazz concert in the beautiful Ateliergarten T8 in Dedinghausen. The stage belongs to them from 5 PM: The Jazz Sisters! When four women decide to give jazz from the past 80 years a few new colors, a sound emerges that grooves straight to the heart - charmingly accompanied by short, sparkling moderations.

At the center is the warm, versatile voice of Juliane Schaper, supported by the delicate guitar playing of Katrin Zurborg, the earthy double bass of Nina Hacker, and the energetic groove of Uta Wagner on drums, irresistibly completed with three-part background choirs. Sometimes powerful, sometimes tender, sometimes playful, sometimes spirited: Music that smiles - and in the next moment hits right in the heart.

If a cello could speak, it would probably sound like Rupert Gillett – the British exceptional musician who feels at home on international festival stages as well as in Buckingham Palace or on the legendary Orient Express. The versatile cellist, bassist, composer, and producer is regarded worldwide as one of the most exciting voices in jazz cello – and as a specialist in everything you "normally can't do" with a cello. Rupert has played for Brad Pitt, Orlando Bloom, HRH Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh, as well as at BBC radio sessions, international festivals, and the Paralympic Games. As a musician, he has collaborated with jazz legend Jacqui Dankworth MBE, producer Liam Watson (The White Stripes), and singer Alison Moyet. It’s hard not to rave about my new book. Even for me. Just the title Sextextsextett, a tongue and icebreaker in conversation at the same time. What does it promise? Everything you want and even more: A lot of contemporary spirit that sometimes comes timelessly, sometimes thoughtlessly, answers to pressing questions such as: What does language achieve in cases of hair loss, how do you mindfully break up with a partner, what are the differences between Goethe’s erotic poetry and that of Hermann Löns? What does the feminist movement "Equal Breast for All" want? Who said: The genitals are the actual focal point of the will, and what name could one give their own? Schopenhauer. So that's where the quote comes from; the other is up to you. How many meanings can the sentence "I have a finger in the ass" have? Several texts reflect my xenologophilia, my love for foreign words, which I like to explain using jokes, such as the malapropism, the confusion of similarly sounding foreign words.
