The concert presents a first reprise of a piano concerto with flute and string quartet by Johann Baptist Cramer, as well as the also newly heard sextet version of the piano concerto op.40 by Anton Eberl, the brilliant student and friend of Mozart. The program is complemented by the wonderful large flute quintet by the Swedish court conductor Joseph Martin Kraus.

A Commissioner to Die For

In Oberlettenbach, the controversial biogas plant is inaugurated. Commissioner Paul Zwieselhuber encounters all sorts of suspicious and eccentric characters. When he returns home, he collapses dead – murdered. The commissioner can't believe it himself. In the spirit world between this life and the next, he meets Lady Death. Reluctantly, she gives him another chance and turns back the wheel of time. If the commissioner finds out who killed him and for what motive, she can reverse the murder. However, he will need the active assistance of the audience for this challenging endeavor.
But who killed him? The over-the-top heiress who only drinks meltwater from the North Pole? The conspiracy theorist who believes the commissioner is an extraterrestrial reptile? Or perhaps the irresistible Gstanzlsinger, with whom the commissioner has an affair? There is certainly no shortage of quirky suspects.

The seductive multi-course menu is served and created by the kitchen team at N8STALLUNG. The nerve-wracking thrill begins at 7 PM, with doors opening at 6:30 PM.

High-class, cult-like, almost historic: since 2018, Los Molineros have been playing every first Thursday of the month in the mill.

“Anyone who can't relate to jazz will still feel at home with the Molineros (…) one is richly rewarded with fantastic live music, bad jokes, and energy.” (Augsburger Allgemeine)

The millers also use their privilege as the house band in the mill as a laboratory for their own jazz compositions. Over the years, more than 50 pieces have been created, which can be tested, modified, or sometimes discarded, or sometimes even develop into evergreens. Accordingly, the stylistic range one can expect at the concerts is extensive, as the listening habits and musical influences of the four are constantly changing. Regular guests observe the evolution of the music anew at each concert, but even occasional visitors can expect entertaining experiences and jazz at the highest level.

His annual retrospectives have long been cult.
But when Django Asül crafts a new stage program, it’s not about the everyday minutiae of politics and society, but about the big themes. Being current is far from enough. He not only looks at the here and now, but also likes to gaze at the elsewhere and later. Staying true to oneself while simultaneously evolving consistently – these are the cornerstones of his work. He owes it not just to himself, but to his audience. The responsibility weighs heavily now. Anyone who, like Django Asül, is a bearer of the Bavarian Order of Merit, the Bavarian Culture Prize, and the Bavarian Cabaret Prize has understood: The hardest part is done – now it’s time to get to the nitty-gritty. And that without regard to profits. And the audience gets to be there live. For those who find this announcement too cryptic, let it be said: Django Asül’s eighth solo program can easily compete with any precision device made in Germany.
Look forward to two hours in which every subordinate clause has the potential to be a main clause.
The evening will be framed by the Donau4Musikanten under the motto "Wirtshausmusi in the smallest and finest."

In the splendid festival hall of the Schaezler Palais Augsburg, 4 original instruments from the 18th century resonate: alongside the Stein piano from 1785, there is an English Stodart piano from 1790, an original tangent piano from the Regensburg workshop of Schmal, and a tangent piano from the Regensburg workshop of Schmahl from 1794, as well as a two-manual harpsichord by Shudi & Broadwood with a register machine and Venetian swell from 1785. All these instruments will be heard in various combinations and rare works for piano for 3 or 5 or even 6 hands. A unique Clavier sound celebration of the 18th century!

The Guttenberger Gypsy Jazz Projekt brings together outstanding musicians from the international Gypsy Jazz scene and presents timeless music in the tradition of Django Reinhardt and Stéphane Grappelli.
The Guttenberger family is one of the most traditional families of musicians in Europe. As early as 1800, their ancestors performed at royal courts. To this day, this extraordinary musical tradition is passed down from generation to generation.

With his distinctive style and impressive stage presence, Florin Niculescu is considered one of the most significant Gypsy jazz violinists of our time. Together with Mano, Dadi, and Moreno Guttenberger, as well as Thomas Stützel, a thrilling sound image full of elegance, dynamism, and musical passion is created.
Look forward to a concert full of spirited improvisations, virtuosic solos, and touching melodies – a musical journey from the Parisian jazz clubs to the grand concert stages of Europe.

The very special superpower of this charismatic artist is to energize people with her music. With songs that are filled with subtle euphoria. Her often piano-based compositions are fused with expertly arranged band sound and electronica, with echoes, punctuated beats, and flickering ideas - weaving a multi-layered pulsating pop out of it. Dreamlike drifting meets ample uptempo happiness. A complex yet very catchy body of work, carried by June Cocó's voice: willful and full of empathy, conjuring dark closeness and soaring bright heights. Live at the piano, she creates her own sound universe and regularly captivates her audience, as the trained musician combines skill and charisma within herself. If one were to compare her, it might be with the grand innovator Kate Bush, and her work with the joyful style mixtures of Florence Welch.

Since she fell in love with playing the piano as a child, June Cocó has been a seeker: time and again, she wants to find the muse that brought her fulfillment and happiness early in life. She studied dance, acting, singing, and music, and shaped herself into the confident artist personality she is today through numerous songwriting sessions and stage performances. Cosmopolitan and dreamy, clever and exciting. That she also delighted stars like Udo Lindenberg and George Clooney as a singing hotel pianist in Leipzig is a true part of the legend - a path she traveled while sharpening her contours and gathering valuable experience for her shows and compositions. It has been worth it: concerts by June Cocó are simply great transformations. How she creates a touching intimacy with just a few chords on the piano. And how she then transfers her multifaceted voice into sound and emotions orchestrally through her loop station and electronic effects.

Theater Fritz und Freunde has dusted off the actually very dramatic fairy tale by the Brothers Grimm and staged it in a child-friendly way for the little audience. The ensemble brings it to the stage with a lot of wit, a lot of music, and a fresh touch of lightness.
“Rapunzel, let down your hair,” who doesn't know this phrase? But who actually knows that Rapunzel is just another term for lamb's lettuce?
But how did it come about that a young girl was named Rapunzel by a sorceress and experienced all sorts of adventures? Rapunzel is locked in a tower by the sorceress, but she wants to be free. When a young prince appears, there is a spark of hope for her, and they keep meeting. But unfortunately, the sorceress catches on and sets a trap for the prince... More will not be revealed!
