Gieseking trifft Breuer und Zippert - Bernd Gieseking als Gastgeber trifft Hans Zippert und Thomas C. Breuer
Bernd Gieseking as the host meets Hans Zippert and Thomas C. Breuer. Two East Westphalians meet someone from Bad Ems, who now lives in Rottweil! The three Duracell bunnies of comedy are on their way to Hannover to the TAK, one of Germany's most charming small arts stages. Jan from the TAK discovered the trio at the Open Flair Festival, where the “three older gentlemen” “rocked” the small arts tent.
Hans Zippert, born in Bielefeld, was the editor-in-chief of Titanic for five years. For 25 years he has been writing “Zippert zappt,” his legendary column that appears in Welt, Welt am Sonntag, and Hörzu. He is the anarchist on page 1 there, awarded among others with the Henri Nannen Prize. And for many years he wrote some of the most beautiful scenes for Maren Kroymann's TV series. Recently, he was also seen in the cinema as an expert in the new documentary film about the Swiss comedian Emil Steinberger. But his never-ending Opus Magnum is the daily column “Zippert zappt.” What started as media criticism became a Bible of satirical accompaniment and analysis of our country.
Thomas C. Breuer has his focus as an author and cabaret artist in southern Germany and radiates widely into Switzerland. Thomas C. Breuer is a cabaret artist, literate, passionate radio maker with numerous features, glosses, and moderations, one of the greats of German cabaret. His texts on the topic “Gesünder kränkeln” have recently been published.
Bernd Gieseking, an East Westphalian and part-time Hannover resident, is a regular guest at the TAK with his programs, always at the beginning of the year with “Ab dafür!”, his political annual review. In his city kid Hannover, his new book “Seepferdchen mit 60 – Bekenntnisse eines sportlichen Spätzünders,” his ascent to the Zugspitze, is terrifying for him, a “dream of life” for his girlfriend. But “you can achieve anything as a man - if your wife wants it.”
What unites the three is their passion for comedy, for the written and spoken word. They have been on the road for years, for decades, on stages and in radio. They are cabaret artists and satirists, radio and TV, and above all, book authors. And they must write. If they do not write, they will get sick. And what they have written, they read aloud, charming, funny, precise.
