Marcel Adam is one of the most well-known chanson singers, composers, and dialect comedians from the northern French and southern German regions. He sings and speaks in French, German, and Lorraine dialect. For years he was heard on the radio as "Schompierre, Schnapsbrenner und Philosoph," where he humorously commented on current events, but primarily philosophized about Mirabelle schnapps, God, and the world.
We are just family together
For over 30 years at home on small arts stages, and for over 20 years as a guest at Sapperlot, he has sung a loyal fanbase into existence through countless concerts, and his lyrics and melodies leave no one untouched. He sings beautifully, and the mix of music and comedy promises an entertaining evening. In addition to his own chansons, he interprets Edith Piaf, Georges Moustaki, Charles Aznavour, Ina Deter, but also Dietrich Bonhoeffer.

Marcel Adam and his ensemble:
Christian Di Fantauzzi: A native Italian, passionate accordionist (button accordion) and saxophonist who won the world champion title in accordion at the tender age of 17 in San Sebastián, is the secret star of the ensemble. With his virtuosity, he plays his way into the hearts of the audience and is always ready for a surprise.
Christian Conrad, electric and acoustic guitar, bass, and mandolin: the Saarland string specialist. A longtime permanent member of the "fine équipe" and as a solo artist active in various renowned bands. When he is not on stage, he primarily teaches electric and acoustic guitar at various music schools.
Yann Loup Adam, vocals, guitar, and piano. Musician out of passion, not because his dad forced him... At a young age, he had the opportunity to perform with musicians like Rolf Zuckowski and Joscho Stephan. In 2014, he released his first solo CD "Carte de Visite." He is primarily influenced by French chanson, but also songs in German and English are part of his repertoire.
Detlef Ludes: Always cheerful drummer of the Egoisten band! For 35 years he has been performing on stage with many different genres and well-known regional bands.
Oliver Abt: Passionate guitarist/bassist. He studied at the Mannheim University of Music and perfected his style mainly through playing with the great guitarists of the Gypsy-Manouche scene. He skillfully integrates himself with a lot of feeling and know-how into this great band and continually delights the audience with his unique way of playing the guitar.
