A hall that cannot get out of the storms of jubilation, the atmosphere is boiling. There has been laughter, tears, horizons have been expanded, perspectives opened, all in just two hours. That’s Poetry Slam! This modern entertainment format combines the best of comedy, poetry, social criticism, lyricism, and nonsense, transforming every stage into a true spectacle of performing arts. And the best part: YOU, the audience, get to decide in this competition who you liked and what is rather something for the trash can.
The upcoming show is under a very special star, as the unique concept "Südwestfalen-Tour" makes a stop at our town hall. 4 of the most renowned and popular slam poets from the entire German-speaking area are traveling to humble Attendorn to present a show that is unparalleled.
Furthermore, an invited guest will even write a text solely about the Olpe district and present it that evening. The moderation will mainly focus on the Olpe district and, with fun facts and perhaps some small quiz segments, show the audience: it doesn’t always have to be the Ruhr area or Düsseldorf or Cologne. Südwestfalen has a lot to offer! And one can be proud of that!
