In Unsex Me Here treffen trans Femmes auf Sage-Femmes, Bitches in der Perimenopause werden wahrhaft königlich und stimmlose Königinnen verschaffen sich Gehör in einem Kaleidoskop ritueller Akte von feministischer Solidarität. In der Tanz- und Drag-Performance erforschen Maria F. Scaroni und Olympia Bukkakis die Figuren von Königin und Hexe – sowohl in der westlichen historischen Vorstellung als auch im queeren Hier und Jetzt. Die ihnen oft humorvoll zugeschriebenen Titel der „Queen“ und der „Witch“ nehmen die beiden Protagonistinnen ernst und untersuchen, was es bedeutet, Monarchin, Heilerin, Dragqueen, weise Frau, trans Femme und (peri)menopausale Frau zu sein; was es bedeutet, kinderlos und dennoch fruchtbar zu sein. Die Fortpflanzung zu verweigern und dennoch mehr zu werden.

In Unsex Me Here trans femmes meet sages-femmes, the perimenopausal become seriously regal bitches, and voiceless queens make themselves heard in a kaleidoscope of ritual acts of feminist solidarity. In a dance and drag performance, Maria F. Scaroni and Olympia Bukkakis explore the figures of the Queen and the Witch, both in the Western historical imagination and in the queer and now. For this piece they take these often humorously ascribed titles seriously, exploring what it means to be a monarch, healer, drag queen, crone, trans femme and (peri)menopausal woman; what it means to be childless and yet fruitful. To refuse reproduction, but still multiply.
