Theater Distel - Stadt Land Sockenschuss – Jenseits von Germany
KABARETT-THEATER DISTEL
„Stadt Land Sockenschuss“ – Jenseits von Germany
Germany 2026: The railway is dilapidated, the bridges are crumbling, and the shortage of skilled workers has even reached the government bench. Amid this chaos, everyone wants to be right at the same time: Left, Right, Center, Up, Down. Yet the matter has long been settled: Only one person is right – Richard David Precht. At least that's what Richard David Precht says.
The political weather? A Blackrocker resides in the chancellery, a complete idiot in the White House, and an American in the Vatican. And that, even though Markus Söder would have generously made himself available for all three jobs!
In these turbulent times, the “Distel” once again proves why it has been a bastion of mockery since its founding in 1953. Located right on Berlin's Friedrichstraße, it has learned to bite between the lines as a former “model cabaret” of the GDR – and after reunification, it has become the first address for razor-sharp, nationwide satire. With over 70 years of experience behind it, the ensemble now takes us on a quirky road trip through an even quirkier country.
The best part: Completely uncustomary for German conditions, we leave on time, arrive without delay, and can guarantee one hundred completely traffic-free minutes of cabaret in between.
Jenseits von Germany – a fast-paced journey through the themes of our time.
