A summer evening at one of the most atmospheric places in the region: In the idyllic ruins of the Wachau church, Uwaga! presents one of the most original ensembles between chamber music, world music, and jazz. Under the open sky and in a special atmosphere, musical curiosity meets a place full of history.

GÜLDENER HERBST – Abendkonzert

In our evening concert, we dedicate ourselves to the "underdogs" of the Thuringian music landscape: Who has significantly shaped Thuringian music history without receiving enough fame and honor today?

With the Ensemble Diderot, described by MDR as "THE ensemble for baroque chamber music," we embark on a cultural quest in Thuringia: Who traveled through the land, who lived here, and from which impressions did Thuringian composers return inspired? Along the way, we encounter both foreign influences and works connected to the contributions of women.

From the Gotha court conductor Gottfried Heinrich Stölzel to the music patroness Anna Amalia of Prussia, we present compositions that highlight the richness and diversity of the region. GÜLDENER HERBST – Landpartie

During our country outing, KMD Jens Goldhardt and the renowned actress Franziska Troegner (“Hallervordens Spott-Light”, “Der Landarzt”) will guide us to the “Drei Gleichen”, a legendary medieval mountain and castle ensemble consisting of the Gleichen Castle, the Mühlburg, and the Veste Wachsenburg. One of the most famous legends states that on May 31, 1231, a ball lightning struck all three castles simultaneously, setting them ablaze.
