Hillus Herzdropfa – „Ächde Älbler“
Monday, October 26, 2026 · Festsaal der Walddorfschule Wangen · Start: 8 PM
When Hillus Herzdropfa take the stage, no eye stays dry – from laughing and from pure love for their homeland!
With their new program “Ächde Älbler,” they bring the life feeling of the Swabian Alb to the stage: rustic, heartfelt, with a wink and a lot of dialect.
Whether stories from everyday life, witty punchlines or true Swabian sayings – everyone who carries the land in their heart recognizes themselves here.
An evening full of humor, music, and life wisdom – as real as the land itself!
Those who want to know what truly defines an “ächden Älbler” can look forward to Hillus Herzdropfa – the two genuine Swabians who celebrate the true Alb feeling with heart, brain, and humor.
And what awaits you that evening is revealed by the official press release from Hillus Herzdropfa:
“Ächde Älbler”
Dear ones all very close to home!
For Hillus Herzdropfa, Thaddäus Troll's simple formula applies:
“Swabian is anyone who speaks Swabian”
Our Swobaländle is not one of the federal states defined by politicians,
rather it is a “cultural area,” a region where people share a common culture.
This includes Swabian thriftiness:
“Rub the salt from the pretzel, so the guest doesn’t get thirsty!”
And of course Spätzle:
“Cheese Spätzle, cabbage Spätzle, lentils with Spätzle, potato Spätzle, Spätzle with sauce…”
Maultaschen are mandatory on every Swabian menu:
“Maultaschen gschmelzt, Maultaschen endr Briah, Maultaschen mit Oi…
Maultaschen VEGAN (nobody is disgusted by anything)”
Along with a glass of cider:
“A good cider heals every pain,
it’s the Swabian's pearl.
The wine delights a man's heart,
cider is for the whole man!” (source unknown)
What else belongs to a real Älbler will be revealed in this program!
Hillus Herzdropfa (themselves genuine Älbler) know everything about these Highlanders and what else is happening in the Alb!
Speaking dialect is a matter of honor for Hillus Herzdropfa!
A small excerpt from their Alb dialect:
Zirengga?
Schdriggjäggle?
Aurawai?
Soidawieschd?
