FRIDAY, AUGUST 7, 2026
On this evening, the MüGa Park in Mülheim an der Ruhr will once again become a magnet for all those who want to experience electronic music in its purest form. The MÜLHEIM SUMMER OPEN AIR with its Electronic Friday has firmly established itself in the festival calendar since 2023 and brings a lineup in 2026 that promises the best vibes to celebrate an unforgettable summer.
In recent years, artists such as Fritz Kalkbrenner, Moguai, Alle Farben, Noel Holler, and David Puentez have shown how deep the connection between music and emotions can be. In 2026, none other than Topic will take the crowd on this journey as the headliner.
What Topic touches becomes music history. With "Breaking Me," his hit from 2020 alongside Swedish singer A7S, he didn't just conquer the charts but also hit the pulse of the club world. A track that gives chills all over the world and still carries the feeling of a perfect summer day. But it is not just this one song that distinguishes Topic: with "Your Love," his reinterpretation of the ATB classic "9pm (Till I Come)," he once again proved how to fill old masterpieces with new energy. And "I Adore You," his collaboration with French DJ HUGEL from 2024, stands for summer, sun, and pure freedom – that special feeling that pushes everything else into the background for a moment and makes you forget.
LARI LUKE is a versatile artist who experiments with bass house, dance/electro pop, and techno. With millions of clicks for hits like "Out Of This Town" and "On Top Of The World" as well as her current single "Can't Choose," she has built a loyal fanbase. Her shows are legendary, and her sets at festivals such as Nature One, Jucy Beats, and Lollapalooza are firmly scheduled.
With YouNotUs, Berlin coolness comes to the stage. With over a billion streams, numerous awards, and international appearances, YouNotUs has established itself as a fixed presence. "Samba" and "Narcotic" are lasting hits on the radio; they combine emotional stories with danceable beats, creating good mood and plenty of euphoria.
Completing the lineup is the Mülheim DJ Frank Zappel Klemans, known among other things for his series "The Club" and various parties at Franky's Ruhrkristall. The perfect addition to an evening that is more than just a party.
The Electronic Friday at MÜLHEIM SUMMER OPEN AIR 2026 will be an experience you will carry with you long after the last beat.

On the second day of the MÜLHEIM SUMMER OPEN AIR, there will be Southern atmosphere in the middle of MüGa Park when cowboy hats meet leather jackets and banjo riffs merge with brutal guitars: The Berlin country rockers The BossHoss are going on a big tour with their current album "Back To The Boots" as part of their Summer Tour 2026 – and will also make a stop in Mülheim.
Since 2004, the capital city cowboys led by Alec "Boss Burns" Völkel and Sascha "Hoss Power" Vollmer have been shaking up the German music scene with their unique country-rock sound. With hits like "Don't Gimme That," "Dos Bros," and "Word Up," they stormed the charts, sold millions of records, and have been awarded gold and platinum multiple times. Their energetic stage shows have brought The BossHoss not only to the biggest festival stages in Europe but also to television – including as coaches on "The Voice of Germany" and both participants and hosts on "Sing meinen Song – Das Tauschkonzert." With their current album "Back To The Boots," they return to their roots and promise pure, handmade rock 'n' roll sounds.
As the opener of the evening, the band Rebel Tell will provide party vibes. With their self-proclaimed "Schlagerbilly," the four authentic musicians from the Lower Rhine uniquely blend schlager and rock 'n' roll. Things can get wild, as they themselves say: "The performance is only good if it involves the necessary amount of escalation." Whether it's Andrea Berg, Udo Jürgens, or Beatrice Egli – they give well-known hits a completely new, captivating sound, and singing along is expressly welcomed. Since their performances in front of Dieter Bohlen and Bruce Darnell at "Supertalent" in 2019 and at the ZDF television garden, Rebel Tell is no longer a secret tip in the German music scene.
