FRIDAY, AUGUST 7, 2026
On this evening, the MüGa Park in Mülheim an der Ruhr will once again become a magnet for all those who want to experience electronic music in its purest form. The MÜLHEIM SUMMER OPEN AIR with its Electronic Friday has established itself firmly in the festival calendar since 2023 and is bringing in 2026 a line-up that promises the best vibes to celebrate an unforgettable summer.
In recent years, Fritz Kalkbrenner, Moguai, Alle Farben, Noel Holler, and David Puentez have shown how deep the connection between music and emotions can be. In 2026, none other than Topic will take the crowd on this journey as the headliner.
Whatever Topic touches turns into music history. With "Breaking Me," his hit from 2020 together with Swedish singer A7S, he has not only conquered the charts but also hit the pulse of the club world. A track that gives goosebumps worldwide and still carries the feeling of a perfect summer day. But it's not just this one song that distinguishes Topic: With "Your Love," his reinterpretation of the ATB classic "9pm (Till I Come)," he has once again demonstrated how to infuse old masterpieces with new energy. And "I Adore You," his collaboration with French DJ HUGEL from 2024, stands for summer, sun, and pure freedom – that special feeling that pushes everything else into the background and makes you forget.
LARI LUKE is a versatile artist who experiments with bass house, dance/electro pop, and techno. With millions of clicks for hits like "Out Of This Town" and "On Top Of The World," as well as her current single "Can’t Choose," she has built a loyal fan base. Her shows are legendary, and her sets at festivals like Nature One, Jucy Beats, and Lollapalooza are firmly planned.
With YouNotUs, Berlin coolness hits the stage. With over one billion streams, numerous awards, and international performances, YouNotUs has established itself as a key player. "Samba" and "Narcotic" are radio mainstays, combining emotional stories with danceable beats and creating good moods and lots of euphoria.
The line-up is completed by Mülheim DJ Frank Zappel Klemans, who is known for the series "The Club" and various parties at Franky’s Ruhrkristall. The perfect complement to an evening that is more than just a party.
The Electronic Friday at the MÜLHEIM SUMMER OPEN AIR 2026 will be an experience that you will carry within you long after the last beat.

On the second day of the MÜLHEIM SUMMER OPEN AIR, there will be southern atmosphere in the middle of MüGa Park, when cowboy hats meet leather jackets and banjo riffs merge with brutal guitars: The Berlin country rockers from The BossHoss are going on a major tour with their current album "Back To The Boots" as part of their Summer Tour 2026 – and they will also make a stop in Mülheim.
Since 2004, the capital cowboys around Alec "Boss Burns" Völkel and Sascha "Hoss Power" Vollmer have been shaking up the German music scene with their unique country rock sound. With hits like "Don’t Gimme That," "Dos Bros," and "Word Up," they stormed the charts, sold millions of records, and received multiple gold and platinum awards. Their energetic stage shows have brought The BossHoss not only to the biggest festival stages in Europe but also to television – among others as coaches on "The Voice of Germany" and both participants and hosts on "Sing meinen Song – Das Tauschkonzert." With their current album "Back To The Boots," they return to their roots and promise pure, handcrafted rock’n’roll sounds.
As the opener of the evening, the band Rebel Tell will create a party atmosphere. With their self-proclaimed "Schlagerbilly," the four authentic musicians from the Lower Rhine uniquely combine Schlager and rock’n’roll. Things can get wild, as they say themselves: "The performance is only good when it includes the required amount of escalation." Whether Andrea Berg, Udo Jürgens, or Beatrice Egli – they give well-known hits a completely new, captivating sound that encourages everyone to sing along. Since their performances in front of Dieter Bohlen and Bruce Darnell at "Supertalent" in 2019 and in the ZDF television garden, Rebel Tell are no longer a secret tip in the German music scene.
