It was the bang of the year 2021: With their sixteenth, self-titled album “HELLOWEEN”, the Hamburg band legend made a comeback with a seven-member lineup and caused a global metal tremor: The album confidently cracked #1 in the charts in several countries and was celebrated frantically by fans and experts alike. In 2022 and 2023, the triumph continued live, leaving no wishes unfulfilled during 60 emotional concerts in 30 countries. Among other things, as Wacken headliners and at shows in Los Angeles, New York, and the “Monsters of Rock” festivals in South America, as well as the first sold-out gig at the legendary Budokan in Tokyo, over 800,000 fans and the reunited band members experienced rivers of sweat and tears of joy – to be relived on the live CD and Blu-ray/DVD “LIVE AT BUDOKAN”, which will be released on December 13, 2024.
With these highlights in their collection, HELLOWEEN enters their anniversary year and celebrates 40 years of band and metal history. While Andi Deris, Michael Kiske, Michael Weikath, Kai Hansen, Markus Grosskopf, Sascha Gerstner, and Dani Löble are intensively working on the successor to the sensational reunion album, they now announce a JUBILEE TOUR of superlatives, as bassist and founding member Markus Grosskopf explains: “We have come up with some great surprises for the fans and will be playing not only brand new songs that are making their live debut but also tracks from the band’s history that haven’t been heard live for a long time or maybe never at all. The shows will be a fantastic experience for all of us!”
Frontman Andi Deris adds: “The creative work in the studio is incredibly fun, and the album promises to be an absolute highlight – but nothing in the world compares to a HELLOWEEN concert: The energy of our audience is simply indescribable, and we can hardly wait to finally go full throttle with the fans again. The upcoming tour will be bigger, better, and more impressive than ever!”
The live dates start on October 17, 2025, in Luxembourg and will take HELLOWEEN across Europe for six weeks. The flight cases contain not only the fresh material from the yet-untitled new long-player but also the setlists of the successful metal band BEAST IN BLACK: As ‘very special guests’, the Finns are another guarantee for a metal party from another star. In the first half of 2026, dates will be scheduled in Asia, South America, and North America, before Germany's metal ambassadors No. 1 will clarify at the biggest festivals in Europe in summer ’26 that the ‘glorious seven’ are still firing their turbo from all cylinders after 40 years.
