THE STERLS - 50s Rock'n'Roll Live Music Show
The name "The Sterls" is a short form of "Sterling," the purest form of silver: silver, like the stage outfit, and pure, like the music.
In the lineup guitar (Bernd Lohmann), double bass (Udo Kämmer), drums (Tobias Schaper), and saxophone/accordion (Helmut Kühn) with harmonized vocals up to three parts, The Sterls play Rock’n’Roll and related genres and invite you on a time travel to the 50s.
For a total of 18 years and over 10 years in the current lineup, The Sterls have played several hundred concerts from the coast, through the Harz mountains, to North Rhine-Westphalia.
In addition to Rock’n’Roll classics from the greats like Elvis Presley, Carl Perkins, Chuck Berry, Buddy Holly, Chubby Checker, and Fats Domino, the four musicians also include songs by The Beatles, CCR, or Queen in their program, all played in the style of the 50s. There are also songs from The Blues Brothers, the Stray Cats, Johnny Cash, and The Blasters included.
Maybe not always entirely serious, but the fun should take center stage.
