Wedding Slam Royale: Painting Poetry
A bit of Poetry Slam. A good portion of live painting. And a touch of magical journey back to the roaring twenties. That's the Fusion Slam: Poetry meets Painting at Ballhaus Wedding.
At the Fusion Slam, the neighborhood poets bring Poetry Slam together with various other arts. More crossover than competition. Because even if you decide which side wins in the end - today, the word art of Poetry Slammers merges with live-drawn images - improvised and inspired by the texts, on canvas before your eyes.
The Ballhaus Wedding brings this extraordinary show to a venue that could not be more appropriate: Between chandeliers and peeling paint, gold-adorned entrance, and, well, Wedding.
The Wedding Slam Royale (formerly: Fusion Slam) is the only monthly deluxe format of the Berlin Poetry Slam. Each edition is different here: In Berlin's only regular Slam Deluxe Show, we bring Poetry Slam together with other arts every month: Crime, jazz, acting, painting, improv, comedy... Each show is absolutely unique!
Where does the Wedding Slam Royale take place?
The regular venue for the Wedding Slam Royale is the Ballhaus Wedding - a super chic hall for about 150 guests, near Osloer Straße. The Ballhaus Wedding brings this extraordinary show to a venue that could not be more appropriate: Between chandeliers and peeling paint, gold-adorned entrance, and, well, Wedding.
Extraordinary Poetry Slams: Every month we surprise you with a different art form that enriches the evening: Planned are art songs, acting, improv theater, stand-up, piano, and jazz... And don't worry: If you particularly like a format, we will of course repeat it!
