Ein Beethoven, wie man ihn kaum kennt: Das Tripelkonzert ist ein kunstvolles Spielstück voll Charme und Esprit, es ist irritierend dezent, galant, filigran. Und es braucht drei Solist*innen, die aufeinander achtgeben – denn nur in der Balance stellt sich das volle Glücksgefühl ein. Da liegt es nahe, das Sitkovetsky Trio einzuladen für diesen solitären Beethoven. Das 2007 vom Geiger Alexander Sitkovetsky gegründete Klaviertrio besticht durch seine Raffinesse im Zusammenspiel, durch seine überragende Spielkultur – und durch seine Erfahrung mit Beethovens Klangwelt. Die drei Musiker*innen spielen gerade alle Triowerke von Beethoven für CD ein. Neben Beethoven steht hier nun Dvořáks 8. Sinfonie auf dem Programm, jenes Werk, mit dem sich der Böhme von seinem Vorbild Brahms loslöste und das – dem Tripelkonzert nicht unähnlich – eine ungewohnte Schwerelosigkeit und Poesie in sich trägt. Dirigent ist der Kroate Ivan Repušić, der aktuell beim Münchner Rundfunkorchester zuhause ist, der aber zudem als Chefdirigent der Staatskapelle Weimar sowie als Generalmusikdirektor der Oper Leipzig in den Startlöchern steht.

A Beethoven as you hardly know him: the Triple Concerto is an artful piece full of charm and esprit, it is irritatingly discreet, gallant and delicate. And it needs three soloists who take care of each other – because only in balance can the full feeling of happiness be achieved. So it makes sense to invite the Sitkovetsky Trio for this solo Beethoven. Founded in 2007 by violinist Alexander Sitkovetsky, the piano trio impresses with its refined ensemble playing, its outstanding playing culture – and its experience with Beethoven´s world of sound. The three musicians are currently recording all of Beethoven´s trio works for CD. In addition to Beethoven, the program now includes Dvořák´s Symphony No. 8, the work with which the Bohemian broke away from his role model Brahms and which – not unlike the Triple Concerto – carries an unusual weightlessness and poetry. The conductor is the Croatian Ivan Repušić, who is currently at home with the Munich Radio Orchestra, but who is also in the starting blocks as chief conductor of the Staatskapelle Weimar and general music director of the Leipzig Opera.
