Childhood in overalls, youth in long haircuts, and city life during their university years. Flashback to Allgäu. The beginning of a band project. We are close to Rainer and Michael, founders of the band "Rainer von Vielen": A childhood friendship, over 40 years of eccentric togetherness. A life story of both survival and loss, encompassing touching anecdotes and fundamental losses. A sheltered childhood, walking the tightrope past drug abuse, suicidal thoughts, and political slogan posters. United by the backseat of the band bus and the shared hotel room, a thousand sound checks and the best times of life on the A7.

RÄUBERLEITER – a play that questions the status quo and reconciles with the past. Featuring new songs by the acoustic duo Rainer von Vielen, which find something good amidst crises: the courage that arises when one has everything to lose and dares to turn their dreams into reality.
