Das Dschungelbuch - Das Musical für die ganze Familie
Since the successful Walt Disney film, Sir Rudyard Kipling's Jungle Book has been an essential part of every child's room. In its fantastic version, the Theater Lichtermeer tells the adventurous story of little Mowgli, who was raised by wolves in the Indian jungle as a human child. When the tiger Shere Khan returns to the jungle, Mowgli becomes a danger to the entire wolf pack and must therefore be taken back to his kind, to the village of humans.
An exciting journey through the jungle begins, and Mowgli encounters all the lovable, dangerous, treacherous, and quirky inhabitants of the jungle: Baloo the bear, Bagheera the panther, Kaa the snake, the forgetful monkey gang, and of course, Shere Khan. Join the musical ensemble of the Theater Lichtermeer on an adventurous journey, humorously played and mixed with dance and song, refined with imaginative shadow plays and puppetry.
The touring theater was founded in 2013 by Andre Hajda and Timo Riegelsberger in Itzehoe and has since created musical experiences for the entire family. To date, over 400,000 children and adults in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland have seen the adventures of "Peter Pan," "Mowgli," "Robin Hood," "Jim Button," as well as "The Little Dragon Coco" and "Jan & Henry."
