Bastian Bandt - TraurigesTierTour2025
The concert is co-presented by the Stuttgart Feierabendkollektiv
The Kulturhaus Schwanen invites you on Saturday, March 1, 2025, to the third "Attic Concert": As part of the "TraurigesTierTour2025," singer-songwriter Bastian Bandt presents "tender tragicomic gravity melancholy to the steel-stringed space guitar" – all in an intimate atmosphere in the foyer of the 2nd floor of the Waiblingen Kulturhaus.
As a support act, Feierabendkollektiv musician Andy Wilsing will open the evening.
Bastian Bandt, who lives on the outskirts of Uckermark, is known for his authentic and profound songs. With his music, which combines influences from Wenzel, Felix Meyer, and Bruce Springsteen, he creates a unique sound that is disturbingly familiar yet new.
His lyrics are poetic and vivid, sometimes humorous, sometimes melancholic. Bandt sings about the small and big things in life, about love, loss, and the search for one's place in the world. He does not shy away from addressing political themes and contributing to the East German identity formation.
His guitar playing is virtuosic and emotive at the same time. It "condenses, carries, catches, drives, stretches, pulls, and creates profound, expansive halls, pulsating steps, and releasing passages." Bandt is a "self-proclaimed small artist; steadfast and honest," who captivates his audience with charm and wit.
Doors open at 7 PM
