THE JOHNNY CASH SHOW - by The Cashbags - Live in Germany 25/26
It's unbelievable but true: Johnny Cash is back! The legend of the "Man in Black," one of the most influential musicians of the 20th century and one of the best-selling artists of all time with one billion albums sold worldwide, lives on in The Cashbags. Nothing is copied 1:1 here, yet everything is authentic, live, and just like back then. Fans of this music and era must experience this!
The role of Johnny Cash is portrayed by native U.S. American Robert Tyson, who vocally and visually comes so remarkably close to his idol that one believes they are seeing the original. Alongside Robert Tyson, singer Valeska Kunath from Coburg shines as June Carter Cash, as well as Stephan Ckoehler, David Seezen, and Tobias Fuchs as the notorious backing trio "The Tennessee Three."
Naturally, the current "A TOUR CALLED LOVE" Tour 2024/25, designed with attention to detail by Cash specialist Stephan Ckoehler from Coswig, is also inspired in sound, appearance, and stage design by the well-known, famous concerts and faithfully delivers all the classics from "I Walk the Line," to "Ring of Fire," "Jackson," and "Hurt" in a captivating two-hour live show, reminiscent of the historic TV programs with guest contributions from other world stars. Other highlights include time travels to the rockabilly sound of the 1950s and the charming duet of June with Johnny Cash's guitarist "Bob Wootton." Songs from the "American Recordings" are celebrated in a special acoustic segment.
After 15 busy years on behalf of the "Man in Black" with countless tours and shows in front of more than 500,000 enthusiastic fans in Germany, Czech Republic, Austria, Slovenia, Italy, Switzerland, France, Romania, and Holland, The Cashbags are excited to finally announce new dates for the 2024/25 season!
