KÖRPERWELTEN Museum Berlin - Facetten des Lebens
The exhibition BODY WORLDS in Berlin is dedicated to the theme "Facets of Life".
Dr. Gunther von Hagens opens up the human body in his Body Worlds exhibitions, making the fragile, worthy structures of life visible to medical laymen. Together with curator Dr. Angelina Whalley, he shows in the exhibition in Berlin-Mitte the facets of life - between happiness and unhappiness, pressure and equilibrium, chance and fate, obsession with the body and forgetfulness of the body, as well as excess and modesty.
The museum opened its doors in Berlin in 2015. It is located at Alexanderplatz directly in front of the Berlin TV Tower. Since then, visitors have had the opportunity to marvel at a variety of unique plastinates. These provide a deep insight into the highly complex interior of the human body. Interested individuals receive detailed knowledge about organ functions and common diseases, all easily understandable. The lifelike poses establish an immediate connection to the viewers.
What connects us, what keeps us upright and in motion, what makes us laugh and love? At BODY WORLDS, you will find answers to these and many other questions. Prepare yourself for a deeply touching and inspiring encounter with life. Do not miss a visit and experience the fascination of plastination.
