Jamaram
Arunga stands for unbridled joy of life – and that’s exactly what Jamaram brings to the stage night after night.
Pure live energy, unconditional love for music, and a deep connection to the fans are the foundation on which Jamaram has established itself as a mainstay of the European live scene since its founding in the early 2000s. As an international traveling circus between reggae, global club sounds, and urban grooves, the eight musicians effortlessly merge various genres into a unique, danceable sound that defies categorization. Powerful bass lines drive through the space, while heartfelt ballads and clever songwriting also leave room for contemplation. In times of AI, algorithms, and artificially generated perfection, Jamaram set a powerful, organic counterpoint with their live music. Their shows are analog, honest, and connecting – music that breathes, sweats, and brings people together. In light of global paradigm shifts, Jamaram stands not only for fun and sweat-inducing concerts but also shows a clear political stance: peace, openness to the world, and respect are central values that have always shaped the band. They position themselves against exclusion, intolerance, and isolation and instead celebrate diversity, community, and joy of life – loud, positive, and border-crossing, just like their concerts.
