Bodies of Light spielt an der Schnittstelle von Bildender Kunst und Tanz mit gegenseitiger Reflexion: zwei Personen, die sich wechselseitig folgen, spiegeln, verdecken und die Konturen, Rhythmen und Farben der jeweils anderen verstärken. Close by, So far – Landscapes of Infinity ist geboren aus der Sehnsucht nach Kontemplation und Heilung im Zeitalter der Krise. Inspiriert durch literarische Werke wie Die Frau in den Dünen von Kobo Abe und Die linke Hand der Dunkelheit von Ursula K. Le Guin, wendet sich die Gruppenarbeit gegen binäre Formen des Seins, Sehens und Bewegens: Ein Raum des Widerstands wird mehr denn je gebraucht.

Bodies of Light plays with mutual reflection at the intersection of visual art and dance: two people who follow, mirror and obscure each other and reinforce each other´s contours, rhythms and colors. Close by, So far - Landscapes of Infinity is born out of a longing for contemplation and healing in an age of crisis. Inspired by literary works such as The Woman in the Dunes by Kobo Abe and The Left Hand of Darkness by Ursula K. Le Guin, the group work turns against binary forms of being, seeing and moving: a space of resistance is needed more than ever.
