2004 Emmy Wagner-Heinz founded the "Peter Paul & Emmy Wagner-Heinz Foundation". The purpose of the foundation, as Emmy Wagner-Heinz has stipulated in the statute, is the promotion of art and culture as well as the support of disabled and elderly art and culture creators in need.
Since 2004, the Peter Paul and Emmy Wagner-Heinz Foundation has created a place of cultural intensity in the old Sachsenhausen mineral oil factory.
In the wonderful vaulted cellar of this precious industrial monument, we present highlights from the international and national music scene, Local Heroes, and talented newcomers. With our highly diverse program of jazz, world music, chanson, literature, and stage performances, dialogues, and debates, we aim to inspire, surprise, entertain, and make an interesting contribution to the cultural diversity of the city of Frankfurt.
Karin Wagner, artistic director since 2017, shapes the brand "Kultur in der Fabrik" with her program team.
