KOVACS announces Germany tour 2027

soul aesthetic, KOVACS has been captivating fans around the world for years.
In 2027, the Dutch artist returns to Germany with new music and a
new live show for selected concerts.

via Eventim. SHARON KOVACS is one of the most distinctive voices in Europe. With her dark, soul-soaked voice, she captivates her audience worldwide with a simultaneously timeless and unmistakable sound. Inspired by artists such as Betty Davis, Etta James, Tina Turner, as well as Amy Winehouse, Shirley Bassey, and Portishead, she developed her own style early on, blending raw soul, cinematic melancholy, and dark elegance. Her international breakthrough came in 2014 with the EP “My Love,” the title track of which became a success across Europe and achieved millions of streams. That same year, KOVACS performed at festivals such as the North Sea Jazz Festival and Lowlands and was awarded the NPO Radio 6 Soul & Jazz Award as Best Talent, among others. With her debut album “Shades Of Black,” she reached number one on the Dutch album charts in 2015 and subsequently performed on international stages such as Glastonbury Festival, Sziget Festival, and Rock Werchter. In 2018, her second album “Cheap Smell” was released, produced in collaboration with Liam Howe. In 2023, her album “Child Of Sin” was released through her own label Wolf Recordings; it debuted as the highest new entry on the Dutch album charts and led to a worldwide sold-out tour. For the second half of 2026, KOVACS is now announcing a new chapter: For the first time, electronic music is at the center of her sound. Inspired by the raw energy of Berlin's industrial techno clubs, she combines her soulful voice with old-school electro and futuristic soundscapes reminiscent of the electronic music of the 1970s. Influences from pioneers such as Kraftwerk are clearly audible. A sound has emerged that blends nostalgia, darkness, and modern electronic production.
