In her latest program "Head up, Chest out!" Daphne de Luxe dedicates herself to the pitfalls of everyday life with her usual cheerfulness and self-irony, and delves into societal phenomena by once again humorously scrutinizing the behavior of her own family. Self-ironic, authentic, and with a wink, Daphne de Luxe skillfully demonstrates humor and attitude as she amusingly illuminates topics such as influencers, fascination with disgust, role-playing, or other curiosities in the lives of her relatives. Who else can better observe their everyday quirks than the - more or less beloved - family members. But even one's own reflection is never neglected in the critical gaze of the humorist. The master of self-irony indulges in memories of family celebrations, analyzes with amusing kitchen psychology the strange hobbies of relatives as well as the peculiar career wishes of the younger generation, philosophizes about our sometimes contradictory way of living, and humorously showcases the idiosyncrasies of her fellow human beings in a highly entertaining way. "Head up, Chest out!" also stands for not letting one's head hang low at every opportunity but rather looking at life with a twinkle in the eye and seeking reasons to laugh. This program is definitely a good start! The much-talked-about mother-in-law, the nephew John-Pierre, the unloved sister-in-law Heidrun, and her daughter Leonie provide plenty of material for amusing anecdotes from Daphne de Luxe's life. And of course, the adversities of everyday life also do not bypass the house cat Schrödi, who now has to take heart medication and likes to use the vacuum cleaner robot as a taxi to the cat litter box.
In her sixth comedy program, the humorist convinces with her very special blend of stylish appearance, amusing entertainment, playful self-irony, cabaret-like depth, unconditional authenticity, and touching singing. New songs and anecdotes, plenty of humor and self-irony, ensure relentlessly good entertainment and allow the audience to forget about their daily lives for at least two hours or laugh heartily about the challenges of life.
