The campfire is once again blazing. Whether classical, free improvisation, pop, jazz, or oriental music - the sonorous art is both the love and passion of Christopher Miltenberger. After almost two years of pandemic-related cancellation, the series is being continued as a request concert. You call in what you want to hear and Prof. Miltenberger plays it. The Handkäs Drama of the Nibelungen with the Dragon Páfnir

"Honor and Handkäs for the King!" "PAFF" - as the dragon Páfnir is affectionately called by his friends - has never been so colorful:
Our scaly hero is expecting a representative of the press who has become aware of him due to an accident and has tracked him down. Now he is completely occupied trying to meet the expectations of film and television.

To this end, "PAFF" resurrects the entire court of the Nibelungen, and his guests slip into the roles of King Gundä and Handkäs Theres while searching for a suitable meeting place with the journalist. Enjoy a romantic evening stroll at the Rodenstein Castle or an event location of your choice by candlelight, and of course a sip of the fiery dragon schnapps: "Echs und Hopp!"

The "Ensemble 1684 Leipzig" is a fixed entity in the German Early Music scene. Founded by Markus Antler and Gregor Meyer - the latter is the director of the Leipzig Gewandhaus Choir - the musicians of the ensemble have dedicated themselves to Baroque music before J.S. Bach, particularly the music of Johann Rosenmüller (1619-1684), whose extensive works had to rest in the cellar of oblivion for a long time, despite their outstanding quality. Here, the ensemble also engages intensively in research and editing activities. The result is high-caliber interpretations characterized by great musicality and extensive knowledge of the Early Baroque period. A highlight not only for fans of Early Music!

BEN CAPLAN is a Canadian singer-songwriter and entertainer known for his energetic live performances and award-winning studio recordings. Ben has been constantly on tour since 2011, playing nearly 2000 concerts in 28 countries during this time. His project "Old Stock" from 2018 was both an album and a critically acclaimed music theater production that toured the world since 2017, including a seven-week off-Broadway performance that earned six Drama Desk Award nominations, a NY Times Critic's Pick, numerous other nominations, and international accolades.

His latest project, "Hold On!", is a diverse cycle of songs featuring a completely new ensemble. Ben Caplan and the band have blended folk traditions of the old world with electronic instruments and sound design, creating a futuristic nostalgia that stretches with one foot in the past and the other over the chasm of doomsday. With their energetic frenzy and moments of unexpected tenderness, the show moves somewhere between theater and music. It's a kind of cabaret to mourn and celebrate the apocalypse.

Yoshi and Hani are best friends, as long as yellow is the color of the sun. But suddenly, Yoshi is only interested in flying kites and doesn't let Hani play along anymore. A quarrel breaks out, the sky darkens, and clouds gather. To express Hani's pain for Yoshi, Hani lets Yoshi's kite fly away. Gradually, the storm subsides, the two find a way back to each other, and learn to express their injuries.

Yellow is the color of the sun is a charming piece about the friendship of two children who learn to communicate about their feelings and respect each other's boundaries. The fact that both communicate in different ways - one in spoken language, the other in sign language - makes it clear that it is not necessarily spoken words needed to recognize and understand feelings.

Playfully, Brendan Murray's piece conveys how accessibility can be embedded in the creative process and how children can approach different forms of communication.

Author Marica Schroeter-Francesevic is a true native of Laupheim. Born and raised in Laupheim, she organized events in the cultural house Schloss Großlaupheim for 10 years.

Well, we can forgive her for moving to Tübingen in the meantime, because now she is finally returning to Laupheim. At least for a reading. Marica Schroeter-Francesevic has entered the world of authors, received a publishing contract for three books (kampenwand Verlag), and will be a guest at Schlosscafe Laupheim on October 6, 2024, with her debut book. So, what belongs together is coming together again.

With her book "Plötzlich Stiefmutter" in tow, there will be a fascinating blend of reading and music together with Samuel Anthes, who is also no stranger as a musician in Laupheim.

Samuel Anthes has taken on the musical side of this extraordinary duo, combining reading and music. With hundreds of concerts and songwriting, also for other well-known artists, Samuel Anthes masterfully combines pop music and casual romance in his songs like no one else. In the good tradition of the so-called "Hamburger Schule," although originally from Leer in East Frisia, Samuel Anthes captures the delicate nuances of German-language pop music with charm and intelligence.

Already from 2004 to 2013, Rosenau, together with Theater Rampe, Theaterhaus, Literaturhaus, and Laboratorium, annually organized the "Viennese Week" festival. The idea was to focus on Vienna/Austria for a week and specifically invite cabaret artists, writers, authors, and theater productions from there to Stuttgart. The series "Wiener Blut" now picks up on this idea again. Throughout the year, various Austrian cabaret artists will present their programs at Rosenau: Social, political, and interpersonal topics are entertainingly brought to the stage in a cabaret style! And everything is a bit more biting, sinister, ironic, quirky, and often more poetic than from German territory.
