Stepping Christmas Santas and rapping angels are back!

Audience and press were in agreement: a truly grand theater! While the audience demanded encores every night with standing ovations, the Hamburger Abendblatt stated: "Even a real gift for Christmas grinches" and "Hardly can the escape from Christmas stress end more beautifully," according to Die Welt.

Theater is illusion – always. And Christmas is magical – sometimes. But the grand Christmas show at the First Stage Theater brought magical illusion to the highest level on stage. Sometimes enchanting and captivating, sometimes touching and teasing, but also cheeky and full of humor – around 50 students from the Stage School Hamburg played virtuously on the keyboard of emotions and showcased their dance, acting, and musical skills in 26 Christmas numbers.

Show duration including intermission: 2 hrs., 15 mins.

We would like to inform you that residential parking is available around the First Stage Theater. Visitors are allowed to park in the area but must purchase a parking ticket between 9:00 am and 8:00 pm. The maximum parking duration is 3 hours.

We recommend using public transportation for your arrival and departure. The ticket prices already include this. The S-Bahn stops Königstraße and Altona Bahnhof are about a 10 - 15 minute walk away. Also, just a few minutes from the theater is the bus stop Große Bergstraße, served by lines 16, 112, and 115.

When it smells like cinnamon, mandarin, and fresh fir, and candlelight warms the soul, famous stars from radio and television invite you to the Christmas Schlager Tour in 2024, just like every year. In addition to the well-known hits and Schlager songs of each artist, this time there will also be Christmas tunes playing, fitting in with the wonderful decoration in glittering light. Special anticipation is set for the most popular and well-known Christmas songs - interpreted in a special way by the musical guests - this year with guest star Claudia Jung, who will also guide the approximately 3-hour show as the host. On the occasion of the 150th anniversary of the demolition of the city wall of Trier in 2025, an exhibition at the city museum deals with the city wall and the development of the city. Starting from the remnants of the wall that came to light during excavations in the cellar of the Simeonstift during the construction work for the extension, which clearly shows the intertwining of antiquity, the Middle Ages, and modernity, the exhibition connects to the time of the wall's demolition and the present.

"Jobim in Berlin - Forever Green" not only celebrates Brazilian music and nature in a unique performance but also conveys an important message. In commemoration of the 30th anniversary of the death of Brazilian composer Tom Jobim, it aims to raise the audience's awareness of the importance of environmental protection and place the topic of sustainability at the center of the event.

The special repertoire, highlighting the work of Tom Jobim, will be performed by a choir with orchestra. Through a combination of choral music, culture, and environmental awareness, “Jobim in Berlin - Forever Green” under the direction of Andréa Huguenin Botelho promises an unforgettable experience for the Berlin audience in 2024.
