Jürgen B. Hausmann has been delighting audiences with his wonderful cabaret "straight from the doorstep" for 25 years now. The cabaret artist naturally wants to celebrate this milestone with the audience - on his "Dat is e Ding!" tour in 2024.
"Dat is e Ding!", Jürgen B. Hausmann is excited and looks back gratefully and with proud amazement at 25 years of cabaret. However, the ideas for his jokes and programs never run out for this entertainer of the old school. On the contrary - his stage experience, unbeatable powers of observation, and direct connection to the audience guarantee a stream of new punchlines. And so "Dat is e Ding!" promises once again comical anecdotes - delightfully exaggerated yet rooted in real life. Because the cabaret artist has once again packaged his observations, experiences, and encounters into wonderful, funny scenes. His cabaret springs directly from the living rooms, clubhouses, and hobby markets of our country, his characters come from the family, the neighbors, or just happen to cross his path. And the reactions from the audience reveal that perhaps one or the other recognizes themselves... This is exactly where the great strength of Jürgen B. Hausmann lies. Thanks to his excellent powers of observation and his sense of humor, the cabaret artist transforms everyday situations into accurate, amusing stories and people like you and me into true originals. Kinseher sits in her empty apartment and suddenly has endless space: she could slide down the corridor unhindered in her socks, finally dance expansively to ABBA or host a Bobby Car race, if there wasn't this huge hole in the floor: It all started with a small dent in the parquet, then it became a crack, and eventually the hole. Since then, a lot of specialists have been at work, proper artisans have been overdue for years! No one can say for sure: Was the hole always there, and no one noticed it? Could the hole have been prevented if it had been noticed earlier? Is this just a temporary hole, or the beginning of the end? What comes after the hole and who is actually to blame? The architect? A mold fungus? Or did the dachshund dig it? And is it even worth painting the walls in this run-down apartment? Before Kinseher answers these far-reaching questions, she first opens a bottle of champagne: It's time to say goodbye! Unforgettable are the cozy evenings in front of the fireplace, the happy hours at the stove, the familiar hum of the refrigerator! Oh, it was so nice: back when the floor under her feet was still intact.

Actress Simone Oswald is one of the pioneers in theater for the very young. Her experience in developing productions and performing for children in the pre-narrative phase will be passed on and deepened through this directorial debut. In close contact with Munich's daycare children, the ensemble will create this world premiere.

The main building of the State Kunsthalle Karlsruhe is closed for extensive renovation. However, significant parts of the collection are now visible to the public again – as guests at the ZKM | Karlsruhe.

In the year 1740, Captain Rickmers intends to set sail for America with a large cargo. Kupfergold | Lights Sea Tour

HAAALT STOP - it's Kupfergold in the house - whether you're here or not. History is being made this year, as Kupfergold headlines their own tour for the first time. The tour is titled after their new album "Lights Sea" and kicked off in spring 2024. After several sold-out shows and a packed festival summer, the Lights Sea Tour is now expanded with eight dates in autumn 2024.
The idea was sparked by their performances as a special guest for Mr. Hurley and die Pulveraffen on the Lighthouse Tour in autumn 2023. "It was incredible. We simply didn't expect this fantastic response!" joyfully recounts singer Bonnie Banks.
With the LIGHTS SEA Tour, the fantasy and folk band from the Rhineland is taking the next step in their band career. The audience can expect an extensive show where the band will showcase their full range. "More party, more drama, more nonsense - in short: More Kupfergold. That's just how we are," promises guitarist Eric Rhymes. Drummer Bummbummbasti adds, "We are extremely proud of our new album, and it fits perfectly with the tour because the lights sea is ahead of us: a shining, yet uncertain future. An adventure that needs to be experienced."

What is life? Random? A joke, or just business after all? This is the question at the heart of Rebers' current program.

In recent years, we have gotten to know him in the most diverse roles. Whether as the janitor of the Lord and block warden of God, as an exorcist, People's Commissar for revenge and retaliation, or as the popular inventor of slat pedagogy. For him, the stage is the battleground in the fight against surveillance capitalism, digital dictatorship, and an seemingly unstoppable spreading stupidity of online mobs. Rebers is a man of extremes and thus not dissimilar to Diego Maradona.

A man who gives his all and for whom every performance is a final. Rebers works analog and can best be compared to a runaway cannon. Always loaded and no one knows who it will hit. He always makes sure that we don't completely lose our cheerfulness. The humor state in Germany is not looking good. Wherever you look, plagues, zeal for education, and irrationality are rampant. Everything somehow goes viral, and it smells more and more often of those old German virtues, which we thought we had long left behind. But how?

The Germans of today are not better than the Germans of back then. Back then was just a different time, so the question arises: "What is the opposite of the future?" "Origin!!" Sounds difficult, but it's quite easy. Because Rebers is a man with wit, a lot of music, overflowing creativity, and exuberant love for the human. Patterns were never his thing, and if one wants to know what this program is actually about, the answer is, everything!!!

In essence, about everything that one cannot march for. And so he drums on, plays the keys, or lashes out, and sometimes he even thinks about taking off. But that's only about in the next and final program. This time, it's only about business!!

GERMAN-TURKISH IMPROVISATIONAL THEATER

With concentrated playful excitement, grotesque-surreal wordplay, and much humor, stereotypes and prejudices, errors and misunderstandings, as well as commonalities and differences are improvised. With a keen sense of situational comedy and equally enlightening and reconciliatory humor, the actors portray both the pitfalls and misunderstandings amidst German-Turkish coexistence, as well as the non-existent homogeneity among like-minded individuals. Guided by the audience's suggestions, short one-act plays, completely without text, completely without a director, are "spontaneously Türked"!
